It has
been suggested by some liberals that Americans should display compassion
towards ISIS and other Islamic extremist groups. Compassion and ISIS are two
words most people do not combine in a single sentence. ISIS formed due to a power
vacuum left in the Middle East, thanks in part to a massive failure of the
Obama Administration. Has my memory failed me or is ISIS (ISL, Levant, Islamic State) or
Al Qaeda, or Boko Haram… not really interested in peace. Have these and other
radical terrorist organizations continually demonstrated they are not groups of
peace. Do you really expect these miscreants to sit around a campfire and sing kumbaya?
There are
a few terrorist cells around the world who have a potential goal where peace
could be achieved, but Islamic extremists are all about murdering everyone in its
swath until the entire globe is under its thumb. ISIS and its counterparts do
not give nor show compassion to anyone they encounter, even fellow Muslims who
do not follow Sharia law.
Do they not
capture and transform both women and children into sex slaves in order to raise
money for its cause, while pitilessly slaughtering men in some of the most shocking
methods used since the days of Ivan the Terrible. Despite all of this, there
are still some left-wing idealists and nut cases who want compassion for ISIS. In this Retired
Army Officer’s opinion, compassion is the last thing these reprobates deserve. They
deserve extermination like the cockroaches they most resemble.
