America is Losing its Sovereignty and Soul

America is a country rapidly losing its sovereignty and its soul. Porous borders, freedom-killing regulations and fierce foreign competition threaten our prosperity, security and culture. Why cannot the American people see the truth for what it is?

Admittedly, Trump is not the savior. He may not be the solution. But, his election, or lack thereof, will represent the core of our soul and values. Trump represents the opposite of current trend of failure. He’s a successful businessman who doesn’t believe in political correctness. His message is clear: ‘our government is corrupt, operated by incompetent people and our media is even worse.’ I, like many Americans agree with him. In the past six or so years, my health care quality has declined, costs have skyrocketed and, in personal life, I've spent most of my time filling out paperwork instead of innovating and creating. As with many Americans, I end each day feeling overwhelmed and underperforming. This choking and meaningless busy work and declining quality of care is the direct result of liberal policies such as Obamacare. Obamacare is a dismal failure.

I am not saying Trump will solve these problems. My point is that this is a ‘choice election.’ He represents the future of this country. If he’s elected, the people will have effectively taken our country back from career politicians, corrupt bureaucrats and ‘big-money’ special interests. If he loses, then we have little hope of changing our trajectory of decline, because the people have lost the resolve and the cognition to recognize the challenges that we face.

The only people who win with burdensome regulations and liberal social policy are large corporations and the establishment politicians. They have the legal resources to cheat the system they created at the expense of middle-class Americans and small businesses.

If Clinton wins, there is little chance we’ll ever see an outside, ‘game-changing’ candidate again in our lifetime. This means our corrupt media wins and establishment politics are deeply rooted in our way of life. Cheaters and liars prevail over truth-tellers. This alone is a “canary in the coal mine.”  As a result, we will continue to see more burdensome regulations that empower countries like Mexico, China and India to take our jobs. As these nations become more wealthy, they will replace us as innovators and leaders in the World.

With our porous borders, our biggest import will be poverty. Our country will be unassimilated, more crime-ridden and there will be an increasing degree of civil unrest. Productive talent and minds will pay the exit fee and become expatriates or will join the corruption in order to afford living the “American dream.”

He's Nothing but...

"He's nothing but a B-List TV personality. He has no business being in politics."

"He's been divorced and remarried. He can't commit to anything."  "He's dangerously ignorant about international affairs. The Russian leaders will walk all over him." "He has no filter - doesn't think before he speaks."  "Until recently, he was a Democrat. He's not a real Republican. He hasn't paid his GOP
dues."

"He used to be Pro Choice. Now, suddenly he's Pro Life?"  "That can't be his real hair!" "He's a loose cannon. No one wants HIS finger on the nuclear button." "His opponent has the experience and political savvy to be president. He does not." "He's just not presidential."

"His temperament disqualifies him from ever being Commander-In-Chief."  "He's proven himself to be mentally unstable." "The military will never accept him as Commander-In-Chief. He's not smart enough."

"The GOP doesn't want him to be the head of the party. He could never reach across the aisle to get anything done." "Most Republican voters will just stay home rather than go out and vote for him." "He's almost 70.  Much too old to be president."  "Evangelicals will never support him." "He says '(Let’s) Make America Great Again'.  How dare he say we aren't still great?!?!"

"His intellect is thinner than spit on a slate rock.  "90 percent of Republican state chairmen judge him guilty of  simplistic approaches, with 'no depth in federal government administration' and 'no experience in foreign affairs.'"

"His spontaneity with reporters and voters plays well but also gives him plenty of space to disgorge fantasies and factual errors so prolific and often outrageous that he single-handedly makes the word gaffe a permanent fixture in America’s political vernacular. He confuses Pakistan with Afghanistan. He claimed once that trees contributed 93 percent of the atmospheres nitrous oxide..."

"After all his gaffs, he doubles down on them instead of admitting he made a mistake." "He's threatening to suspend our treaties and relationships with our allies by demanding that they pay for their own defense!" "Because of his gross factual errors he might take rash action and needlessly lead this country into open warfare!"

"He's racist, xenophobic, and fuels the fires of hatred!" "You shouldn't take him seriously. He has a penchant for offering simplistic solutions to hideously complex problems and a stubborn insistence that he is always right in every argument.

"The rising turnout of his voters are not loyal Republicans or Democrats and are alienated from both parties because neither takes a sympathetic view toward their issues.

"He wears the disdain he draws from the GOP elites as a badge of honor. Henry Kissinger’s championing the other GOP candidate and attacking him are actually helping him!" "The fact that he could be deemed a serious candidate for president is a shame and embarrassment for the country.

The New Yorker observed that his appeal has to do not with competence at governing, but with the emotion he evokes... He lets people get out their anger and frustration, their feeling of being misunderstood and mishandled by those who have run our government, their impatience with taxes and with the poor and the weak, their impulse to deal with the world’s troublemakers by employing the stratagem of a punch in the nose.

"His unpopular opponent presided over the current Iranian crisis... and a reeling economy, yet surely the Democrat will prevail over him."  "Is he Safe? He shoots from the hip, he's over his head What are his solutions?

"Voters want to follow some authority figure, a leader who can take charge with authority; return a sense of discipline to our government; and, manifest the willpower needed to get this country back on track -- Or at least a leader from outside Washington,"

Sound familiar? You've heard this all about Donald Trump, right?

Try Again. All this was said of Ronald Reagan in 1976 and 1980. Most of it was BY OTHER REPUBLICANS, and Reagan turned out to be arguably one of the greatest presidents of the 20thCentury, if not of all time (excluding possibly George Washington.)

Divorce Agreement

This is not an original, though I would love to have of penned it. It’s written by John J. Wall,  a law student no less! This is so incredibly well put and I can hardly believe it’s by a young person. I fully endorse the message contained in the piece’s contents. Thus, I share it. Perhaps there is hope for us after all. Whatever he runs for, I’ll consider voting for him.

DIVORCE  AGREEMENT

“Dear American’s, leftists, social progressives, socialists, Marxists and Obama supporters, et al:

We  have stuck together since the late 1950's for the sake of the kids, but the whole of this latest election process has made me realize that I want a divorce. I know we tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations, but sadly, this relationship has clearly run its course.

Our two ideological sides of America cannot and will not ever agree on what is right for us all, so let's just end it on friendly terms. We can smile and chalk it up to irreconcilable differences and go our own way.

Here is our separation agreement:

--Our two groups can equitably divide up the country by landmass each taking a similar portion. That will be the difficult part, but I am sure our two sides can come to a friendly agreement. After that, it should be relatively easy! Our respective representatives can effortlessly divide other assets since both sides have such distinct and disparate tastes.

--We don't like redistributive taxes so you can keep them.
--You  are welcome to the liberal judges and the ACLU.
--Since you hate guns and war, we'll take our firearms, the cops, the NRA and the military.
--We'll take the nasty, smelly oil industry and the coal mines, and you can go with wind, solar and biodiesel.
--You can keep Oprah, Michael Moore and Rosie O'Donnell. You are, however,  responsible for finding a bio-diesel vehicle big enough to move all three of them.
--We'll  keep capitalism, greedy corporations, pharmaceutical companies, Wal-Mart  and Wall Street.
--You  can have your beloved lifelong welfare dwellers, food stamps, homeless, homeboys, hippies, druggies The greedy banks, and illegal aliens.
--We'll keep the hot Alaskan hockey moms, greedy CEO's and  rednecks.
--We'll  keep Bill O'Reilly, and Bibles and give you NBC and  Hollywood.
--You  can make nice with Iran and Palestine and we'll retain the right to invade  and hammer places that threaten us.
--You can have the peaceniks and war protesters.
--  When our allies or our way of life are under assault, we'll help provide them  security.
--We'll keep our Judeo-Christian values.
--You are welcome to Islam, Scientology, Humanism, political correctness and  Shirley McClain. You can also have the U.N. but we will no longer be paying the bill.
--We'll keep the SUV's, pickup trucks and oversized luxury cars. You can take every Volt and Leaf you can find.
--You  can give everyone healthcare if you can find any practicing  doctors.
--We'll  keep "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" and "The National Anthem."
--I'm  sure you'll be happy to substitute "Imagine", "I'd Like to Teach the World  to Sing", "Kum Ba Ya" or "We Are the World".
--We'll  practice trickle-down economics and you can continue to give trickle up  poverty your best shot.
--Since it often so offends you, we'll keep our history, our name and our flag.

Would  you agree to this? If so, please pass it along to other like-minded liberal and conservative patriots and if you do not agree, just hit delete. In the spirit of friendly parting, I'll bet you might think about which one of us will need whose help in 15 years."

Juxtaposition Between Trump and Clinton is Vast Part 2 of 2

Is not Clinton partially responsible for the consequences of the Obama administration’s foreign policy, which has seen the rise of Islamic radicalism and the widespread persecution of Christians in the Middle East? She’s participated in the Obama administration as secretary of state. She helped usher in the Arab Spring, which birthed ISIS, which has birthed the entire turmoil in the Middle East. So you have that – or you have Donald Trump. If nothing else, Trump is exhibiting a commitment to evangelical causes through the team he has assembled around him. Should we not also acknowledge his selection of a Christian conservative like Pence as his vice presidential running mate?
Some might think Donald Trump could do the same thing that Obama has done. He could – but I doubt it. He has picked as a potential vice president an outspoken evangelical Christian. He has put around him an outspoken evangelical Christian advisory council. He’s put an amazing coalition of Christians around him. Has Hillary Clinton done anything like that? No, the exact opposite is the truth. I also believe Trump’s patriotism and love for country is sincere.
Trump has made promises. He has stated: ”I want to make America great again.” "I want to build a wall” until we get a grip on this thing. “I want to tighten up the restrictions on who comes in and who doesn’t.” “I want to do some vetting.” “I want to make sure ISIS isn’t coming across our borders to kill us, to destroy us from within” (the Trojan Horse scenario that ISIS boasts about).
Trump wants to bring industrial operations back to America, lower taxes so those people who have the infrastructure and the wherewithal can create good jobs and strengthen our economy. He says he wants to strengthen our military … the bottom line he’s much more of a nationalist and Clinton is much more of a globalist.
However, I have heard from many Christian friends who say they cannot vote for Trump because of their “conscience.” I understand that position, but in my opinion, Christians can’t opt out of their responsibility to do all they can to put the best choice in the White House. After all, they will also be responsible to their conscience if Hillary Clinton is in the White House in a year. I scuff at the notion there is some “perfect person” evangelical Christians can write in to be Commander-in-Chief.
We’re not electing a Pastor or a Pope or a Priest or a Deacon or a Sunday School Teacher. We are electing the person who is going to sit across from Vladimir Putin and the likes and look them in the eyes.
You want to talk about your conscience? What are you going to do when you wake up on November the 9th and you didn’t vote or you voted for a third party who had no chance of winning and effectively gave a vote to Hillary Clinton? You wake up and she’s president-elect. The globalist agenda is in full force. Obama’s last eight years will be on steroids for another four or eight years and beyond. What are you going to say to your children and your grandchildren when the America we knew is gone? When the Constitution, First Amendment rights, Second Amendment Rights, Fourth and Fifth Amendment rights, when all of those are gone? What are you going to say about your conscience then?”
Admittedly, Trump is hardly likely to solve all the concerns of evangelical Christians in the United States. But I believe that on issues such as the Supreme Court and religious freedom, Trump will give Christians the “breathing room” they need to rebuild the culture.
There is nothing in the decades of Hillary Clinton’s public life that indicates she is some kind of friend to evangelical Christianity. Whereas Donald Trump has been an ally to Christianity. And as I said, he at least had the guts to pick an evangelical Christian for his vice presidential candidate. The difference between Trump and Hillary Clinton is like light and darkness, wine and vinegar...

Juxtaposition Between Trump and Hillary is Vast Part 1 of 2

Evangelical Christians are mostly sticking with Donald Trump, despite the mainstream media’s relentless attack on him. I, as an Evangelical Christian, argue they should stand by the Republican nominee regardless of what the media says, because Christians need to prevent Hillary Clinton from occupying the White House.
Unless one has recently arrived on planet Earth from another galaxy, ultimately, the election in November comes down to a choice between two people, and no other considerations matter.
The point is, the juxtaposition between these two candidates is vast. I suppose it depends upon what kind of a world one foresees, what kind of an America you foresee, how your conscience will allow you to vote. Because here’s the bottom line – barring something really unusual happening, all things being equal between now and election day, on November the 9th, Hillary Clinton will have been elected commander-in-chief of the military armed forces of America and the CEO of America’s economy and borders. Either her or Donald Trump. Now, you can say what you wish about either one of them, neither one of them are perfect candidates. But we’ve never had a perfect human being as a candidate. We might have had some that people could deem to be more desirable than others. But everyone can disagree with each other about that. So my point is let’s be pragmatic for a moment.
I contend, Christians have a responsibility to safeguard the national interests of the United States, because it is a Christian power and an important pillar of the faith worldwide. Though far from being perfect, I am a born-again, Bible-believing, Jesus Christ-loving Christian. This being the case, my first loyalty is to the Kingdom of God regardless of who is in charge of this nation or what happens to it. But that being said, I also recognize this is the largest Christian nation the planet has ever seen since the birth of the church. We are a constitutional republic founded upon Judeo-Christian principles. That is undeniable.
I know that my freedom and the life, contentment and prosperity that I have savored is the result of living under that kind of Constitutional Republic and the freedoms that it affords. The choice we have as a people, is a binary decision between Trump’s nationalism and the globalism of Clinton, who has been revealed in recently released emails and transcripts of speeches as an explicit supporter of Open borders.
On the one hand, we have Hillary Clinton, who is an avowed globalist. Has she not spoken against Second Amendment rights? Has she not spoken in favor of perpetuating the abortion holocaust? Has she not spoken clearly about her desire to bring in more Islamic refugees? And has she not spoken in favor of the borders staying fairly porous and loosening the immigration laws?

A Message for Christians and the Upcoming Election

I was just sent this article by a patriot and Christian friend and because I thought it was well worth reading I am sharing it.  Thanks for reading.

Before you vote please read this article .... it won't take you long, and if you agree, please send it on to your friends.

This may be the best and most honest political promotion statement you will ever read.  It decidedly does not brush objections aside. You hate Hillary?  READ it.  You hate Trump?  READ it.  You think there's no choice?  READ it.  And, read it with your grown-up hat on.

We've all been dealt huge responsibility with this election.  The first step toward accepting responsibility is accepting it, and the first step toward accepting it is recognizing it.  READ THIS.  Read every single word.  It'll take you about three minutes. Be sure to read to the end.

Are you sickened and despondent with the current campaign and upcoming presidential election? I consider myself a conservative and do truly believe our country is at a political/economic/moral/ social crossroads. I need to let you know I could/would never vote for Hillary Clinton to lead this country.

To me, she represents everything that is wrong with our current political structure.  On the flip side, I look and listen to Donald Trump and I cringe at every rude, insulting comment he makes.

If you find yourself in a similar state of mind, please read the following article: A Message For Christians About Donald Trump

Here's a famous joke about God and how he talks to us. "A deeply faithful Christian man is stuck on roof at home with massive flooding up to the 2nd floor. Rowboat comes. He says "No, I'm waiting for God. I prayed and I know he's coming."  2nd Rowboat. "No, I'm waiting for God." 3rd Rowboat. "No, I'm waiting for God." Water rises. The man drowns. Now he's meeting God in heaven. The religious man says, "Where were you God? I prayed. I was faithful. I asked you to save me. Why would you abandon me?" God says, "Hey, I sent you 3 rowboats." Did you ever consider Trump is our rowboat?

Maybe God is trying to tell us something important--that now is not the time for a "nice Christian guy" or a "gentleman" or a typical Republican powder puff. Maybe now is the time for a natural born killer, a ruthless fighter, a warrior. Because right about now we need a miracle, or America is finished. Maybe the rules of gentlemen don't apply here. Maybe a gentleman and "all-around nice Christian" would lead us to slaughter.

Or do you want another Mitt Romney, Bob Dole, John McCain, Gerald Ford or Paul Ryan? Did any of them win? Did they lead the GOP to "the promised land?" Did they change the direction of America? No, because if you don't win, you have no say. Paul Ryan couldn't even deliver his own state, Wisconsin! And as leader of the House, Paul Ryan rolls over to Obama like my dog rolls over for a scrap of food, or a steak bone.  Nice, but obedient. I mean Paul Ryan...not my dog. My dog is actually a pretty good defender and loyal.

Maybe God is knocking on your door loudly, but you're not listening. Maybe God understands we need a "war leader" at this moment in time. Maybe God understands if we don't win this election, America is dead. It's over. The greatest nation in world history will be gone. Finished. Kaput. Adios. And with one last breath, maybe what we need to save us at the last second, is someone different. Someone you haven't ever experienced before-- because you weren't raised in rough and tumble New York where nothing good gets accomplished unless you're combative, aggressive, outrageous, on offense at all times, and maybe just a tad arrogant too.

Someone with a personality you've never seen on stage at your church. Maybe, just maybe, being a nice gentlemanly Christian would not beat Hillary and her billion dollars, and her best friends in the media who will unleash the dogs of hell upon the GOP nominee.

I guess you think God is only nice and gentlemanly. Really? Then you've missed the whole point of the Bible. When necessary, God is pretty tough. When necessary, God strikes with pain, death and destruction. When necessary, God inflicts vengeance.

Maybe you think God couldn't possibly be associated with someone like Trump. Trump is too vicious, rude and crude. When we won WWII, was God "nice?" Were we gentlemanly when defeating Hitler? Were we gentlemanly when firebombing Germany? Were we gentlemanly when dropping atomic bombs on Japan? Is God ever "nice" on the battlefield? Or does he send us vicious SOB's like General George S. Patton so the good guys can defeat evil? It's pretty clear to me God sends unique people to be "war leaders." That's a different role than a pastor or church leader. God understands that.

And maybe it's time to re-define "nice." Maybe Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan aren't nice at all--because they led us to defeat. And losing again would mean the end of America. And God can't allow that. Maybe Romney and Ryan mean well, but the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Or maybe they're just jealous they had their chance and blew it. Maybe they'd rather help elect Hillary than allow a Trump victory that would make them look weak, feckless and incompetent. "Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint." (Isiah 40:30-31)

God is about miracles. We don't need a "nice guy" or a "gentleman" right now. It's the 4th quarter and we're losing 14-0. We need a miracle.

When is a Lie Not a Lie

Have you noticed how often the word “lie” is coming up in this presidential campaign? Both candidates have charged the other as being a liar. As they say, “all’s fair in love and war and politics.” That’s to be expected. But among most commentators, the majority of whom appear to be anti-Trump, I’ve noticed three things. First, they keep expanding what counts as a lie. Second, although they accuse Donald Trump of lying, they never use that word when referring to Hillary Clinton, even though they admit that a good deal of what she has said is not exactly true.  Instead, Hillary is “cagey”, “deceptive”, and sometimes speaks “shades the truth”– but apparently she doesn’t actually “lie.” Third, they think the commentators are engaging in a “false equivalence.”

I think these folks have it exactly backwards. That may be understandable. As the polls ebb and flow the Hillary zombie like supporters are candidly freaking out. Most of Donald Trump’s controversial statements are uninhibited oversimplifications or hyperboles or the result of faulty recollection or inadvertent misstatements of fact or mere blow hard statements. If Trump were on the witness stand and testifying under oath, almost nothing he has said in his presidential campaign would put him in jeopardy of a charge of perjury. The same cannot be said of Hillary Clinton.

But first, what is a blow hard statement? I liken it to a “puffy” assertion. This has long been recognized in the law of contracts. Common law regards statements like that as expressions of opinion, not warrants of fact. Puffing or blow hard statements are a subset of a class of statements that “no reasonable person” would take literally in any normal context. In no courtroom in America would any of these statements be taken as assertions of fact. It’s too bad more members of the chattering class didn’t take a course in business law as I, prior to changing majors following my first year of college.

The Lion has Roared...

With nations warring over biblical battlegrounds, traditional morality under assault, and the civilization once called Christendom teetering on the brink of collapse, it's a time of confusion and fear for believers worldwide. "The lion has roared - who will not fear? The Sovereign Lord has spoken - who can but prophesy?" Amos 3:8

When I first began to contemplate, study and debate these matters, the Internet and cellphones were just coming into their infancy. Neither had pervasive 24-hour cable television news broadcasting become commonplace. The Middle East had not yet imploded and Christian genocide was not underway. Russia and China had not shown up with their militaries in Syria. Russia and Iran had not made military compacts. The formally democratic and U.S. ally, Turkey, had not become a rogue state seemingly determined to recreate the Ottoman caliphate. News flash: All of these things are underway, and you have to be pretty much blind, deaf and dumb to ignore their prophetic significance.

I argue, Christians had long suspected these kinds of events would unfold because of predictions in Scripture, but few could have predicted the speed with which everything is unfolding. Think of it! The Gulf War, Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, the Arab Spring, the birth of ISIS and the creation of a caliphate, the international refugee crisis, and the radical movement to promote transgenderism. Few could have dreamed of all this even a short time ago. But some of us did, not in exact detail, but we knew something like it was on the way. Because the Word of God said these events are coming. It is my hope, as prophecy continues to unfold, the purpose of this post is to help believers decode the biblical significance of the extraordinary news which seems to arrive with each new day.

Some claim we are yet in the midst of a major Shemitah event missed by most of the world - but still reverberating. Are we not also witnessing an unprecedented and exponential explosion in technology developments that tie, for the first time in history, directly to biblical Last Days prophecies? At present, are we not witnessing the alignment of the Ezekiel 38? Are not the nations in the Middle East in the process of forming a great alliance against Israel?

From what information, slim as it may be, I am able to gather, major globally influential entities are fervently calling for the marking of every man, woman, and child on the planet - and plans have been laid, in conjunction with international tech companies, to make it happen within the next decade.

Every day, I become more convinced a great apostasy is engulfing much of the church even as a great awakening is sweeping the planet. Are not events taking place in the world today a clarion call to attention for the church, I believe is far too complacent about the importance of prophecy and eschatology, especially when it comes to the time of challenges which I and others before me argue is in store for believers? Many theological and biblical scholars are absolutely alarmed by what they are seeing - yet the largest part of the church remains silent. They appear to barely even notice the apostasy from within. It is my passion, and in a sense duty, to in the least, bring awareness to the church - from the lectern, the pulpit, to the pew - not in an alarming and sensational way - but in a sober, balanced, logic, and biblical manner. This is why I have written these particular remarks.

Practically every single thing the Bible said would happen in the last days has happened and/or is happening right before the eyes of the world, and at breath-taking speed! And it has all rolled in like Noah’s flood waters, all since the return of Israel in 1948. Following extensive study, I knew in my spirit that the unprecedented event of the revenant nation of Israel was the start-watch for dramatic end time prophecy revealing. However, I could never have guessed how quickly it would come.

Even when writing the post, I found the world was changing so rapidly and prophetic happenings were advancing so disturbingly that it was hard to know where to start and quit writing. I assert, one does not need to be of a particular denomination or even a believer to profit from this writing. This post does not require that the reader hold to any one schema of eschatology. It does not insist upon a certain timing of the rapture event - rather I simply take what the Bible clearly says would be markers of the last days and then line those prophecies up with the continually unfolding and corresponding mainstream news reports of current events.

Denying Accommodation for Religious Conscience

Nearly 225 years after the ratification of the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, the cause of conscience protected by the principles of “no establishment” and “free exercise” may be losing support in the minds and hearts of the American people. Appeals by religious individuals and groups for exemption from government laws and regulations that substantially burden religious practice are increasingly unpopular and controversial. So much so that many in the media have taken to using shock citations excerpts, transforming religious freedom into “religious freedom.”
Earlier this month, the Obama administration released a report with recommendations clearly and unequivocally bidding to deny Americans’ cherished religious liberty. The lengthy new report, titled “Peaceful Coexistence: Reconciling Nondiscrimination Principles with Civil Liberties,” came from the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights (whose membership the President appoints). The report represents the most blatant and open attempt by federal officials to subjugate religious liberty to the current phase of sexual social revolution. The commission chairman wrote what I contend are antagonistically, aggressive and argumentative language in his personal statement in the report: “The phrases ‘religious liberty’ and ‘religious freedom’ will stand for nothing except hypocrisy so long as they remain code words for discrimination, intolerance, racism, sexism, homophobia, Islamophobia or any form of intolerance. … today, as in past, religion is being used as both a weapon and a shield by those seeking to deny others equality. In our nation’s past religion has been used to justify slavery and later, Jim Crow laws.”
Ironically, slavery and Jim Crow laws were wholly Democratic Party institutions. Democrats created them, perpetuated them and enforced them with the aid of their own military wing. The military wing which, in addition to lynching blacks, systematically murdered those opposing their ideology. Here is a fact that most of the left fail to mention. It was Christians and Jews for the most part that led the fight against slavery – on biblical grounds – as well as the civil rights movement of the 1960s? Makes one wonder if the left, to include Obama and Hillary have actually read any speeches by Martin Luther King Jr.?

Now the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights appears to be recommending that we make it official: Our first freedom is first no more. According to a commission report, “civil rights protections ensuring nondiscrimination, as embodied in the Constitution, laws, and policies, are of preeminent importance in American jurisprudence.” If we accept this assertion, it means that conflicts between religious freedom and nondiscrimination principles are resolved by denying accommodation for religious conscience — except perhaps in very rare and narrow circumstances.
Vigorous protection for civil rights is, of course, essential in a democratic society. But so is protection for liberty of conscience. Despite dark chapters of religious discrimination, the United States has a long and honorable history of taking claims of conscience seriously. From conscientious objection to war to religious accommodations in the workplace, the American experiment in religious freedom seeks (on our best days) to ensure that people are free to follow the dictates of conscience in matters of faith.

Yet Another Manifistation of America's Fall

Has America gone to the devil? Christian leaders are speaking out – and they are guardedly saying it has. Do you not think the rise of Satanic worship is an ominous development?
Historian Arnold Toynbee famously declared “countries crumble from within…” I believe we are nearing the end of that same course in our nation that once represented a light of hope and freedom to the world. Fact: America is no longer a Christian nation. And Christians need to wake up.
For a country and people who have historically valued life more than death, truth more than deception and the rule of law and common sense more than tyranny or hedonism, the rise of Satanism probably comes as a shock. But for those who have watched the promotion of occultism, spiritism, demonism and hedonism in the media in the name of ‘pluralism’ are not surprised. It is simply more evidence of our culture’s fascination with narcissism, death and rejection of common sense.
Of course, the Satanic Temple says it does not literally worship the devil. Instead, Satan and demonic imagery are used as a formidable weapon to fight for separation of church and state. Does one really believe the use of this kind of imagery is innocent?
It is yet another manifestation of America’s fall from God. It is no accident that we are seeing more and more displays of Satan in America’s public life. This is an unprecedented development in American history. This could not have taken place in earlier days. And it’s no accident that this is happening in the same America that is increasingly removing any display concerning God or faith from the same public square.
I argue, no society can simply become “secular.” Instead, as a society declines, it calls what was once evil good and good evil. The result is nothing less than a total societal transformation. It is not another sign of the increasingly powerful position and brazen stance of evil, immorality, ungodliness and anti-Christianity in the new America? That which in former days existed only in the shadows and in the periphery of American culture is now in the spotlight and center stage – and seeks to drive that which was formerly in the spotlight and center stage of American culture to the periphery and into the shadows. And you know what? It won’t stop there.
What happened when ancient Israel turned away from God? Did it not turn to the god Baal? One of the names of Baal was ‘Baal Zevuv,’ or ‘Lord of the Flies.’ When that Hebrew name was translated into Greek and then English, it became ‘Beelzebub’ – the name of Satan. So it is no accident that we are now seeing in America the same thing. When one drives God out of one’s life, when a nation drives God out of its national life – it opens the door to Satan and all that accompanies the fallen one.

Hillary, It's Time to Come Clean

To quote Matt Barber, “I can’t wait for ‘Weekend at Chelsea’s’ to hit the big screen.CNN and the rest of Hillary Clinton’s slobbering media sycophants have already written the script. If this woman, God forbid, dropped dead on the sidewalk tomorrow, these doting suck-ups – these mass media strumpets whose voter trust has, understandably, reached an all time low – would dutifully parrot the Clinton campaign talking points and call it a ‘minor setback’ to her ‘inevitable’ victory.”

Is it not about time the Clinton campaign comes clean? Don’t hold your breath, they won’t, but they should. I wonder what official “diagnosis” we’ll get the next time Hillary seizes up and collapses into the arms of unnervingly calm Secret Service personnel acting as though they’ve been there a hundred times before. The point is that, once more, by lying about illness, Mrs. Clinton has bolstered (and justified) concerns about both her physical and moral fitness to serve as president. She’s proven, yet again, that she can’t be trusted. She has confirmed a number of pre-conceptions that voters, as revealed by her historically low approval ratings, have formed relative to her health and character. She’s a liar. That’s her default mode. She’s crooked. And she’s sick. She puts her own personal political ambition and lust for power above all else – including the best interests of the nation, and one might conclude, even her own life.

Indeed, Mrs. Clinton has had her ups and downs over the past several weeks. But her poll numbers are above the Mendoza line (baseball slang for poor performance), admittedly just a hair above Trump's. Her recent medical crisis coupled with her stepping in it by smearing half of Donald Trump’s supporters as a “racist” and “irredeemable” “basket of deplorables,” has only served to accelerate the downward plunge.

Perhaps this is because of the glaring hypocrisy associated with such a statement – especially by this particular woman. the same woman whose Democratic Party opposed the 1964 Civil Rights Act while Republicans, not unlike those she just slandered, worked hard to pass it. Finally, and going back a bit further, this is the same Hillary Clinton whose party fought a war to maintain slavery in the U.S. while hundreds-of-thousands of Republicans gave up their lives to free them.

Despite her obvious character flaws and eversion to the truth I’m praying for Hillary Clinton. The reader may ask, why pray for someone as hateful or evil as she?  I ask, why not pray for her?  Despite what her campaign and worshipful media disciples are peddling, and notwithstanding her being caught in lie after lie, our eyes have been telling us the truth for months, maybe even years now. To watch this increasingly frail, bitter and elderly woman stiffen up, convulse and collapse into the arms of well-practiced staffers is hard to stomach. You can’t help but feel some degree of compassion for her, malicious though she may be.

With Clinton There is No Chance

I have to say, I pretty much think that if Hillary Clinton, is elected, the path America is currently on will continue and will inevitably lead to catastrophe. If we don’t right the ship now, we’re headed to be like socialized Europe — religion pushed out of everyday life and a financial disaster getting worse by the month. Even reaching problems likened to Argentina's current plight, where they are literally fighting for food, is not out of the realm of possibilities. It’s that bad.
Don’t think it can’t happen here. The bottom line for me is that I love this country and our Constitution more than I dislike Trump’s sometimes antics and ego. I believe Trump will attempt to change the direction that Godless liberals and their lapdog-media have led this nation. With Trump we have a chance.  With Hillary Clinton we have no chance. Be thankful we still have a chance and vote this fall. The future of our country in general and our religious liberty in particular depend on every Christian and Jew being registered to vote -- and voting. I do respectfully, recognized some of my conservative peers feel different. I submit to them, think about what is said above. Let your conscience be your guide and peace be with you.
