Michael Moore the Doyen of Presumptuous Expression

Here's one for the Tinseltown moralizing category and subgroups within. Filmmaker and activist Michael Moore, the doyen of presumptuous expression before thinking, recently bemoaned the state of America’s political landscape. It seems that Moore believes that sociopolitical and economic disparity is a much bigger problem than Trump and political leadership, in general, is letting on. And he knows this because he speaks for Bernie, therefore he is one of them. What is perplexing about Moore’s sanctimonious empty talk and often foul comments is how completely hypocritical they are. His girth and bulging jowls notwithstanding, Moore is not your average Hollywood do nothing, who has nothing. But when he tries to tell media representatives, and Bernie supporters and all who would listen that he knows how Americans really feel about inequality and economics, it is mind-bending-half-witted. What should be more alarming is that Michael Moore, by his words and association links himself with the sociopolitical and economically deprived. For Moore to include himself with them is more than a bit arrogant, don’t you think? I would suggest Moore spend more time analyzing Trumponomics than looking to left-wing politicians to solve the people’s problems. Finally, to Moore and his leftist politico besties I suggest he and they who label Trump a racist, xenophobe, traitor, tyrant, an enemy of the state, you must be factually correct to be morally correct.

Tides of Tyranny: America's Holocaust

America's Holocaust

22 January 1973, the United States Supreme Court made a landmark decision when it ruled that the Constitution protects a pregnant woman’s liberty to choose to have an abortion without government restriction. The results of the dubious ruling have resulted in 47 years of legalized abortion at any time for any reason throughout pregnancy. I refer to that date as America’s second day of Infamy. The first being the attack on Pearl Harbor, December 7th, 1941. Since that time, there have been an estimated 61,628,584 abortions that have destroyed the lives of unborn children. For those who may be mathematically challenged this number means there are more than 2,362 abortions daily and 98 abortions per hour every hour in the United States. The stats/data are both tragic and indefensible.

If the above statistics fail to make one’s heart skip a beat, these additional facts might. The United States 2020 population is estimated at 332,000,000 at midyear according to UN data. Additionally, America’s population is equivalent to 4.25% of the total world population. To add insult to death, It has been reported and verified statistically, the total number of babies aborted in the U.S. equals the populations of the states of California, Virginia and the cities of NYC, Chicago, and Houston.

Imagine if every single person living in the states of California, Virginia and the cities of NYC, Chicago and Houston were to suddenly disappear. Envision the global calamity that follows. It would be a reasonable assumption that humanity would be in disbelief, dismay, and horror. But when it comes to aborted babies, some people celebrate the massive destruction of human life. Others just don't give a damn. Therefore, we who oppose infanticide must speak for those who have no voice.

Abortion of the unborn is not unlike the atrocities committed during the Holocaust that resulted in six million innocent Jews being exterminated. Those responsible for both may differ as are the factors that contribute to the environment under which, Jews and the unborn were/are killed. The causal factors for perpetrating the genocide of the Jews by the SS and collaborationists range from antisemitism to blind obedience, religious hatred, and xenophobia. Abortionists/pro-abortionists differ in that political opportunism and profiteering appear to justify the means.

An Illusory Road Trip

As our spiritual crisis deepens, this fascinating interplay of perspectives, this dramatic clash of mentalities becomes the material for a great debate now taking place in America over our future. This discussion is found everywhere, from DC to LA, large urban areas to small-town USA, in living rooms while gazing vacantly at various modes of media, even staring at passing billboards that are no more than products of our own imagination. It has been said, “The use of traveling is to regulate imagination with reality, and instead of thinking of how things may be, see them as they are.”

Let us together take an illusory road trip. While doing so, keep in mind that a portrait is worth a thousand words. This being so, imagine the story a series of simple billboards may tell the occupants traversing the highways and byways of America’s road system. On this imaginary journey, we observe a billboard. The billboard consists of an electrocardiogram of a heart that suddenly stops beating. The caption read: When you die, you will meet God. What are the last four things many within Christendom calls the last four things: Death, Judgment, Heaven, and Hell? Have you really thought of these four simple words? Death, Judgement, Heaven, and Hell serve to trigger a fleeting reflection upon the meaning of life in the here and now and what awaits in the hereafter. Think about it. Death, Judgement, Heaven, and Hell… are the last four things toward which we are moving every minute, of every hour of every day... every year.

Is Santa Real? If not, Is There a Christmas or a God?

Is there a Santa Claus bearing gifts? Only if you’re a Left-leaning secular Social Progressive  is Kris Kringle or Saint Nicholas other than a figment of one’s imagination that gives others “free stuff.” If there is no Santa, does this mean there is no Christmas? By extension, if there is no Christmas, is there a God? Indeed, God Almighty exists. We can categorically affirm, as we commemorate His birth, Yes, there is an Almighty God. The universe literally cries of His existence but only for those who have eyes to see. Paraphrasing Christian theologian’s past and present we can more accurately say about God, He lives and lives forever. A thousand years from now, even 10,000 times 10,000 years from now, he will continue existing as He has always existed. One must remember, "in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him, nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it... The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God -- children born not of natural descent, nor human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us... We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. Out of his fullness, we have all received grace in place of grace already given. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known." In truth, there is a Christmas and a God. The greatest Christmas gift reminds us of how God gave of His Son and that Jesus Christ gave us the greatest gift of all. Christmas is meant to be a symbol of the heart -- love, charity, compassion, commemoration, and remembrance of the gift of eternal life made possible by the Savior. How do I know what I speak of? Because the Bible is the ultimate source of truth. There is a God. Furthermore, my faith rests on the assurance that what I hope for will come about and the certainty that what I cannot see exists. There is an Almighty God. He is the Prince of Peace, Lord of Lords. He is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. It is because He lives we can face tomorrow, that being said, there is a God thus Christmas is real. Merry Christmas to friends, followers and readers alike.
