Liberals and Political Correctness

Why do the Democrats take political correctitude to extremes? Do you, as I, loathe the idea that some schmuck can tell a joke on social media and have his/her life ruined for it by the liberal thought police. Is it not appalling to see that the liberal left has embraced fascism to such an extent that they can’t put up with a differing idea on their college campus? It’s like the whole of America is in a liaison with someone/group who has an emotionally unstable personality disorder. Every Tom, Dick, and Harry is sauntering on eggshells because some buttercup or snowflake might get upset at, well…. simply anything. Have you ever asked yourself, whatever happened to the idea that if some everyday thing causes someone to recall a previous traumatic memory, they have the problem and it’s something they need to work on? Oh, yeah, lest I forget, liberals materialized.

Tides of Tyranny: Liberal Left and its Politicization Strategy

Liberal Left and its Politicization Strategy

Why does the liberal left cause every activity or event to become political in character? Do they not seem to politicize everything? Want to view a National Football League Game? Instead of watching the players standing for the national anthem, they are taking a knee to protest the flag. Turn on a celebrity self-gratification awards ceremony? There are actors/actresses belittling a sitting President who puts America First. Essentially, they are causing consternation by making partisan political statements. Want to go to the bathroom in peace while taking care of business? Well, first, we need to know if you’re okay with sharing it with someone who feels like the opposite gender today. You’re just a regular person telling a evocative joke you heard? Better be careful; that could turn into  front-page fabricated immoral or discreditable behavior if the wrong person/group gets offended. Want to buy a toy for your tyke? Well, you better make sure it’s someone of the same race or people will be upset. Want to go on a date? If you date someone of the same race, you may be racist. Ready to marry your intimate and beloved? Then you had best support gay marriage or you’re a homophobe. Where have the days gone where one could just live their lives without paying heed to politics at all? Then again those were the good old days. Remember that wise saying? Never discuss race, religion or politics in polite company? Well, in view of the fact there are liberals, we no longer have a choice. A shame, is it not?

Political Inspired Terrorism

Why does the left repeatedly speak pompously about the non-existent threat of right wing fascism in America? Do you suppose, as I, that it is little more than an effort to camouflage a growing and very real terror threat within its ranks? Is it not the left that is encouraging riotous behavior throughout the country as the answer to political dispute or dissent? The current sharp increase of high profile violent behavior, including the attacks in Las Vegas, NYC and Summerland, Texas in recent months can be associated with, in part to offensive, disrespectful, and hate that is exhibited daily via social media. Do you not think this a contributing strand in emboldening domestic terror?
Terrorists do not always just come from Chechnya. They don’t just come from Iran. They don’t just come from Hezbollah. Sometimes, terrorists come straight from the progressive party, straight from the American left. The left would have us believe that our greatest domestic threat is from the political right. Mentioned terrorist events say otherwise. This being the case, is it not leftist terror that is becoming a growing problem in America? It is more apparent that the left is emboldening their adherents to be repulsive, malicious, rude and deceitful. Based on recent occurrences are there questions about the left encouraging this kind of activity?
It is apparent the anti-Trump, anti-police and anti-nationalist protests which have become a fact of American life have much of the Mainstream Media and political establishments elites blessing. Have you not heard liberal talking heads applaud those involved in riotous behavior, if that behavior is in response to Trump?
I ask you the reader, is it a correct assumption that leftist ideology is increasingly to blame for aggressive flare-ups and sporadic acts of violence in American universities, towns and cities? Even the most casual observer is certainly aware that the resistance movement, with its efforts to get rid of Trump by any means necessary, has created fertile soil for Anti-Fascist Action networks, left wing, self-described anarchists, extra-parliamentary political movements who describe themselves as Anti-fascist. These and other such groups have been able to establish themselves in the United States. It is likely, in the years ahead, the scale and frequency of left wing violence will increase. Why? Because just as “Hillary Clinton couldn’t lose, the American left can do no wrong.”

Wrongdoing Flourishes When Culpability Wanes

Wrongdoing flourishes when culpability wanes. Historically speaking, we have always had select categories or classes of people who engaged in sexually exploitive misbehavior, and that class was largely confined to those with power and their sycophants and bottom feeders, who are no more than opportunists who profits from the misfortunes of others. But in our classless, open society, a society without ruling class, do we not pride ourselves on having a mutual standard of demeanor for everyone.

Not exactly, based on fact. When it comes to sexual exploitation of women, we treat our small privileged class elite in the same way serfs treated yesteryears privileged class: with deference. In the United States, three things confer upper class prominence: renown personage, wealth and power. Entertainment, politics and the media are built on all three. And elite status in each of those industries bought not just a mass of opportunities for heartless conduct but also a hushed knowledge that the downside would be insignificant for engaging in that unkind and insensitive treatment.

First, the opportunities. Just as certain peasants of old sought to curry favor with lords, too many Americans seek to curry favor with the powerful. That's the story of the Hollywood casting trailer. It's the story of the famed journalist and his nighttime corner booth at the local pub. It's the story of the politician and his late-night office meetings. Does anyone think women were dying to meet Harvey Weinstein or Dustin Hoffman or Charlie Rose or Glenn Thrush or Matt Lauer or Al Franken or William Clinton? Each story we hear tells the same tale: Women thought the only way they could get ahead was to indulge these men with acquiescence. They thought that they couldn't turn down biddings. And if they were exploited, they thought they had to remain reticent. In many cases, the victims remained silent. That's because the public offered no consequences to the elite. Perhaps too many of us blamed the victims and were unwilling to blame the those responsible. Perhaps the darkest side of humanity revels in the pain inflicted by others.

So, what's changed now? It's tempting to say that we've awakened from our societal slumber — that we're unwilling to allow luminary and wealth and dominance to make allowances for abuse. But is that being too optimistic? So long as fame and money and power exist, there will be those who seek to exploit them and those who look the other way. Do not false idols always have their adherents? It is time to say, enough is enough.
