Time for Christians to Don Armor

Did not God design marriage to be a sacred covenant between one man and one woman? While society has perverted His truth, it does not change the purpose of marriage. Secular activists, to include many leftist politicos, corporate CEO’s, entertainment celebrities... some select Church Denominational ecclesiastic councils’ and members therein, gather all around the world pushing pro-LGBT, government sanctioned abortion and socialist agenda… and too few Christian pastors, church staff and laypeople counter the apostasy... and nobody shuts them down. Only a few denounce this moral heresy. Dare I say apostacy? 

Although it is difficult to believe, we should not be surprised these heretical acts are being accepted rather than being widely denounced as unholy, blasphemous, sacrilegious, profane, immoral, corrupt, depraved... Has not God told His flock, that we will be persecuted for following Him and remaining steadfast to His truth as written in the inerrant Word of God? It is inevitable that the faithful will clash with a decaying culture who rejects God and His authority. It is happening in America and across the world. It is time for Christians everywhere to don the Armor of God. 

Why the Amror of God? “So that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.  Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. What say you?

Wuhan and The Adminisration's Lack of Transparency

Among the most controversial aspects of the Wuhan Institute of Virology's coronavirus research has been its funding from the U.S. government. Those funds originally came from the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases. That agency, part of the National Institutes of Health, has for many years been headed up by Dr. Anthony Fauci. Something about Fauci, Washington’s lack of transparency, Biden turning a blind eye to China’s quest for world domination via brute force or bioweaponry, big pharma involvement, and funding that carries with it a foul stench. And we know that some odors have a power of persuasion stronger than that of idiomatic expressions, appearances, sentiments, reactions, or lack thereof and will. The persuasive power of an odor cannot be fended off, it enters us like breath into our lungs, it fills us up, permeates us totally. There is no remedy for it. Hence, half-million Americans dead, millions more across the earth have breathed their last. The epilogue: We are fast approaching a crisis that unnerves me and causes me to shudder for the safety of our Republic... corporations and individuals of enormous wealth and a heretofore not seen era of corruption in high places have been enthroned. It is these select few people of means, power and influence that endeavors to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until all wealth and power is aggregated in a few hands and America is dismantled from within.

Biden and Post-Modern Tokenism

Are you aware that President Biden has gone where no other POTUS before him has gone? In his first six months in office Biden has taken the awe-inspiring leap into post-modern tokenism with his Cabinet and key advisor selections, ensuring that this many are African American and that many are persons of Latin American origin or descent and used as a gender-neutral or nonbinary alternative to Latino or Latina. These are female and those are gay, and this is this and that is that. It is not that Biden is making choices to represent America or his coalition. Every president does that, to include President Trump. Though more traditionally, they have done it in terms of the geography or physical features of an area. What is new about Biden’s methodology is that rather than contest the perception that he has used factors other than finding the absolute best person for every job, he has veered into the belief that it is laudable to choose citizens in large measure based on skin color or ethnic origin or sexual orientation. This is America as today’s Democratic party understands it… The kind of line often promulgated by those who believe in counting by race, gender and sexual orientation is that the world that results “looks like America.” That is an awfully bad link, considering that America is actually “76.5%” white. If Biden’s cabinet and key advisors were to look like America, it would have to be a lot more Caucazoid than it is. Come what may, we are so far beyond Martin Luther King Jr’s “I Have a Dream” speech... “that we will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character." Under our current leadership, we should almost certainly start back peddling and phrasing things in the reverse. Which is simply great… By which I mean, it is just awful. Six months in office and what have we learned about Biden, his administration, his key advisors, and appointees and today’s Democrat party? Their actions, rhetoric, and job assignments within the government is little more than mere lip-service to the idea of equality, not to mention sheer tokenism. What say you?

Memorial Message 2021

Most of my Facebook, Group friends and Blog readers probably no little about me. Albeit my posts give you a glimpse into my theological and geopolitical predilections. I served in the U.S. Army.  In fact, military service runs in my family. My father served during WWII – he fought campaigns in North Africa, Sicily, Italy, France Omaha Beach landing in Normandy, siege of Bastogne in Belgium. As my father would tell those who cared to listen, “the only contest I ever won was my draft number being the third one drawn for World War II.” He was one of the fortunate ones, who returned commemorating victory, but many of his brothers in arms did not make it home.   

Because of my father’s sacrifices and the values, he instilled in me, I joined the Army out of high school in 1965 and served as an Airborne Infantryman. In 1974 I was Commissioned a Second Lieutenant following graduation from University of Florida’s Army ROTC program. I eventually retired in 1995 following five years as a Division Chief at Army Special Operations Command, Fort Bragg, NC.   

I learned so many lessons in the military which became the foundation of everything I did while on active duty and post active-duty life (retiremenmt). But I would not have had the opportunity to do what I loved most – serving our nation as a soldier for 30 years and later teaching high school Army JROTC – if it were not for the selfless men and women in our military who fought and died for our freedom to do what we love. Sadly, some who gave all, I served with.

The commitment, courage, and sacrifice of those who gave their lives to secure freedom for their fellow citizens should never be taken for granted. For too many, the Memorial Day weekend will signify little more than the beginning of summer, a long weekend, BBQs, and beers. Regretfully, honoring fallen heroes is not commonplace any longer, and unless future generations are taught that their freedom was purchased at a great price, the true meaning of Memorial Day itself may become nothing more than a memory. Lest we forget, we owe this freedom of choice and action to those brave men and women, in uniform who have served this nation and its interests in time of need. We are forever indebted to those who gave their lives that we might be free. As articulated in the immortal words Patrick Henry: “Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take, but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!”  As a nation, let it be our pledge that we as a people never forget those who gave their last full measure while answering the call of “duty, honor, country” are never forgotten.

The Horse is Out of The Barn

The horse has left the barn. This recent cyberattack proves key parts of our infrastructure are exposed and vulnerable. We must put in place measures to protect our sophisticated, technology-dependent infrastructure against threats from cyber-criminals, domestic and international terrorists’ organizations, rouge nation states and geo-political enemies, namely, China, Russia, N. Korea, Iran... Failure to do so, will result in catastrophic consequences throughout the United States. Failure to protect ourselves, our nation, and our infrastructure directly, is not an option. A government commissioned EMP Task Force has on three occasions reported to Congress that in the event of an Electro Magnetic Pulse attack, 90% of the American population would be dead within a year. Another study and subsequent report conducted by the U.S. Air and Space Force's center for professional military education and the Curtis E. LeMay Center for Doctrine Development and Education warns that an electromagnetic pulse weapon attack could wipe out America, ‘democracy, and world order.’ The report, titled, “Electromagnetic Defense Task Force,” and the product of a summit of officials from 40 agencies, should serve as a forceful call for a new focus on preparing for either an enemy EMP attack or a natural hit such as a solar storm. While the EMP Defense Task Force is focused on the devastating impact an EMP strike would have on the military, it appears to support the congressional EMP warning that dark days for America are only a matter of when, not if. And we are not talking about long lines at the gas pumps. The Biden-Harris Administration’s current infrastructure proposal allocates $100 billion to upgrading the grid, with another $35 billion to develop climate solutions, $46 billion in federal buying power to accelerate clean energy efforts, R&D to eliminate racial and gender gaps in science, technology, engineering and math fields through investments in historically Black colleges and universities and minority-serving institutions. Lest I forget to mention, another $600 billion and counting for social style infrastructure programs, like upgrades to affordable housing, Green Housing, $400 billion for home-based care for elderly and disabled, $35 billion for climate change-related R&D, $50 billion for "research infrastructure" at the National Science Foundation, $50 billion for new Commerce Department office "dedicated to monitoring domestic industrial capacity," $213 billion for home sustainability and public housing... There will be little want for social programs, building dedications, investments in historically minority serving institutions ... in the likely event that our electric grids are compromised. That is not to say social programs are not magnanimous gestures, but we don't have the luxury of engaging in noble acts when the United States could be easily destroyed by bad actors seeking to incapacitate our Republic. Do I have your attention? Now is the time to shut the gate.

Why Now and Who is to Blame

Why now and who is to blame? Why the violent clashes between Palestinians and the Jewish state? The Left and its lap dog media would have us to believe the initial antagonists were a “Jewish Settler group who took it upon themselves to evict several Palestinian families from a nearby neighborhood." The fact of the matter is the Court upheld a previous ruling it had made in February. So why the protests now?  Regardless of our party affiliation we should know by now that the Palestinians use events, whether current or in the past, as pretexts, when there is political expediency to do so.  They are a “one-trick pony.”  But the Palestinian leadership is comprised primarily of Palestinian Sunni-Islamic fundamentalist militants associated with Hamas and founded and influenced their kryptonite, Iran. The true genesis of the recent violence is that the Palestinian leadership and clerics incited it with the false claim that Israel had endangered the third holiest site in Islam, Al Aqsa Mosque.  Is this not historically reminiscent of the same type falsehoods that has sparked frequent terror strikes over the years in Israel and other places throughout the world? But I digress, in preparation for such strikes, they stockpile Molotov cocktails, ammunition, small arms, rockets, bricks... in mosques, schools, hospitals...  and then hurl them at targeted source.  This time they timed the assault to coincide with Ramadan. If not Ramadan, then Layat al-qadr (Night of Power) or Eid al-fitr, Haji, Day of Arafat, Eid al-Adha (Festival of Sacrifice) ... Again, I digress, the current, like past Palestinian opposition to Israel is about not one neighborhood or this or that, but the existence of all of Israel.

CRT, Marxist Doctrine of Critical Theory, Emancipation Education Proponents are Wolves in Sheep Clothing

How would you feel if your child or grandchild came home from school and said my teacher told me that everything that happens in the world is “racist” and that if I am white, I am part of the problem?  Is this not an absurd declaration by a teacher, a school board member or school system employee that endorses a dogma as reprehensible as Critical Race Theory (CRT)? Since when did a child’s skin color make them racially prejudiced? I am of the opinion it takes a bigoted radicalized ideologue with a twisted sense of sanctimoniousness who equates whiteness to bigotry. That may sound difficult to believe, but such disturbing ideas are coming to your children’s and grandchildren’s K-12 public schools, if they are not already present.  

As for myself, I am outraged, disappointed, affronted and filled with righteous indignation when pedagogues treat pupils differently because of their ethnicity which causally relates to skin color and these same educators/Administrators specifically make pronouncements that target the current progenies and past descendants of White America. This nation's school aged youth essentially have become the unwitting quarry for which CRT devotees now calculatedly prey upon. Today’s targeted students are in no way guilty of past, real, or perceived enslavement, exploitation, brutality of non-white persons. Any public school system that consentingly assents to and incorporates CRT as doctrine, essentially violates existing laws. It should go without saying, such dogma is also disputing for all children, white or non-white.

Now for some educational enlightenment. The real goal of CRT proponents, be they teachers, educational administrators, SWJ’s, political left-wing office holders... These ideas of oppression and systemic racism come from a Marxist doctrine called “critical theory.” Over the past four decades, Post-secondary Education professors and activists expanded critical theory into what is now called “Critical Race Theory,” a worldview that “questions the very foundations of the liberal order, including equality theory, legal reasoning, enlightenment rationalism, and neutral principles of constitutional law.” The curriculums and trainings alluded to clearly belong to the critical race theory discipline. Sadly, the mentioned discipline has now seeped into our public education system. Instead of learning reading, writing and arithmetic, government/civics and historical truths about America’s greatness our children and grandchildren are being indoctrinated by adherents of an” intellectual movement and loosely organized framework of legal analysis based on the premise that race is not a natural, biological grounded feature of physically distinct subgroups of human beings but a socially constructed (culturally invented) category that is used to oppress and exploit people of color.” Now many of our educational systems have become the aegis of what some term as Emancipation Curriculum, which espouses “all white people play a part in perpetuating systemic racism.”

 

If one believes in biblical inerrancy, as I do, we will be able to identify the sheep from the wolves clothed as sheep. The Word of God tells us: You will know them by their fruits. In other words, grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes, nor figs from thistles, are they? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit; but the bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. Every tree that does bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So then, you will know them by their fruits. Jesus assures us that we will know them by their fruits. Some fruits may be beautiful, decorative, and offer pleasant shade in the summer. But its primary purpose is to bear fruit, and it is therefore judged by what it produces and not by how it looks or sounds, i.e., Critical Race Theory, Marxist Doctrine of Critical Theory, Emancipation Curriculum. What say you?
