"Resistance" Facts Yesterday and Today Part 2 of 5

Any “resistance” aimed at removing a president would also involve the proverbial street and popular culture. A good way might be to implant to such a degree the idea of harming the president that it would become something more than just a sick fantasy but become contextualized as an act of near patriotism across the broader culture. Celebrities accordingly might dream out loud at rallies of blowing up the White House. Or, a movie star might announce to his/her audience his/her hopes for a repeat of a John Wilkes Booth-style assassination. Or, a state legislator might post hopes that the unthinkable might befall President Trump. Or ,a rapper might release a video in which the president is depicted as shot. Or a comedian on camera might hold up a facsimile of the bloody severed head of the president. Or a New York troupe might perform public plays in which the president each evening is ritually skewered to death. Have we not heard or observed via media the just mentioned sick fantasy's during Trump's first fifteen months in office? Even now, a former Vice President desires to "Beat the Hell out of him."

We might also see and hear ad nauseam from actors and other celebrities expressing desires to beat him to a pulp, or hang him, or shoot him—all the insidious efforts not of those easily disregarded as unhinged, but of those with public personas, and with the effect of incrementally normalizing violence against the president. Late night comedians might vie with each other in their profanity and scatology, ridiculing the president with references to him fellating a foreign leader. Who knows, a secret service agent might even post a brag that she would not be willing to “take a bullet” to defend the likes of this president. Or a left-wing zealot might think shooting Republican congressmen was doing his part to thwart the evil Trump agenda. Have we not heard or observed all the above occur during Trump’s first fifteen months in office?

Blue, anti-Trump states might seek to nullify federal law, in the fashion that the states of the Old South insisted that they were not subject to federal jurisdictions. California, for example, might declare itself a sanctuary state, a declaration that would forbid federal immigration agents from enforcing fully the law. Or the states might incessantly sue the president’s administration on everything from immigration to environmental policy; such that every two weeks California is ritually filing a new law suit in a friendly court to curtail federal government jurisdiction over state residents. The California Governor might declare the president an immoral agent who had no fear of God, as peerage in his state talked of Calexit, a secession from the president’s United States. Or the California legislature might dream of subverting the new federal code curtailing state tax deductions in adolescent ways that would earn any taxpayer who tried such a con an IRS indictment. In fact, has not all the just mentioned transpired in Trump’s first fifteen months as president?

"Resistance" Yesterday and Today Part 1 of 5

Any stunning, factual recitation of events which have occurred since and prior to President Trump’s election should surprise no one, notwithstanding Trump’s promise to “Drain the Swamp.” One must remember not all conspiracy theorists are unhinged paranoids. This becomes more apparent when these conspiracy theoreticians insist there was a loosely organized if not sometimes incoherent effort to destroy Trump’s candidacy over and above normal political maneuvering and later a renewed and thus far unprecedented endeavor to abort his presidency.

After all, did anyone believe that in the year 2017 the losing side in an American election would immediately dub itself the “Resistance.” Is that not kin to channeling the World War II nomenclature of the guerrilla campaign against the Wehrmacht occupation of France? Or that the defeated candidate, Hillary Clinton would formally embrace the imagery of liberationist patriots battling a Nazi-like Trump occupation of America?

An opposition effort might embrace trying to subvert the Constitution by pressuring state electors not to honor their constitutionally defined responsibilities to vote IAW the popular vote in their respective states. It might also include an effort to introduce articles of impeachment in the House of Representatives.

A resistance might file suit under the 25th Amendment to find the president ‘not right of mind’, accompanied by a popular campaign to clinically diagnose the president as mentally unfit or physically feeble or disabled. Or a resistance might sue the courts to seek removal of an elected president on grounds he was a involved in excessive profiteering and had thus violated the U.S. Constitution. Or a resistance would file suits with hand-picked liberal judges to delay and halt the president’s executive orders. On the petty side, an organized effort to discredit a president would range from boycotting an inauguration and a State of the Union address to deliberately holding and delaying confirmation of his appointees. In fact, have we not seen in Trump’s First year all these things and more?

Opinion: Congressional Lawmakers Fiduciary Obligation to America

Granted, the GOP tax cuts already are boosting local economies and more help may be on the way. However, should we not get serious about cutting spending and eliminating the national debt, too? Fact; Congress has not managed to restrain spending. Did not Congress recently forge a budget agreement that will increase both military and domestic spending and create trillion-dollar deficits for years to come? When is it unacceptable for lawmakers to look the other way on debt and deficits? Researching various debt statistics/charts, I became knowledgeable enough to recognize that we are borrowing, in the neighborhood of two million dollars every minute, every day of the year. That’s what a trillion dollars is.

How do we counter this debt as a people? First, we begin by insisting Congressional Representatives measure the effectiveness of every government program. Second, scrap those programs, projects and government grants that are not beneficial and relevant to the majority of tax payers. Third, to even the playing field, initiate and/or raise tariffs as necessary. Fourth, top-down welfare reform. Fifth, immigration reform to include elimination of Chain Migration, Diversity Immigration Visa program (lottery) and building the Wall to secure America's Southern border from entry of illegal immigrants, drugs, criminals and terrorists. Lastly, pass legislation to ensure future budgets are balanced.

America's Legacy of Faith and Personal Commitment

Thomas Jefferson wrote in 1781: “Can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are of the Gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with His wrath? Indeed, I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that His justice cannot sleep forever.”

President Dwight Eisenhower declared in his farewell address, 1961: “This evening I come to you with a … farewell, and to share a few final thoughts with you, my country. … We face a hostile ideology – global in scope, atheistic in character, ruthless in purpose, and insidious in method. … As we peer into society’s future, we … must avoid the impulse to live only for today, plundering for our own ease and convenience the precious resources of tomorrow. We cannot mortgage the material assets of our grandchildren without risking the loss also of their political and spiritual heritage.”

President Ronald Reagan stated, 1983: “We’re a nation under God, a living and loving God. But Thomas Jefferson warned us, ‘I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just.’ We cannot expect Him to protect us in crisis if we turn away from Him in our everyday living. But you know, He told us what to do in II Chronicles. … He said, ‘If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.'”

As for this writer, Samuel Alano, I mean to stand upon the Constitution and God's Holy Word. I need no other platform. I shall know but one homeland and one God. Though far from perfect, the ends I aim at shall be my America, my God, and Truth. I was born in a Christian America; I will live as a Christian American; I shall die as a Christian American, free from the shackles of secular-humanism and geopolitical tyranny.

A Bipartisan Bill Worth Supporting

Upcoming HR 4981....let your rep know if you agree retirement should be the same across the board...here's what it's about. Bipartisan Legislation Introduced to End Lifetime Congressional Benefits. Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) and Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC) introduced Friday the Stop Congressional Retirees' Accessing Perks (SCRAP) Act, H.R. 4981, a bill that would eliminate several perks for former members of Congress.
Members of Congress receive a variety of benefits during their time in office. Many of these same privileges are still permanently available and in effect after they leave Congressional office. These include access to the House and Senate floors and gyms, healthcare benefits, and free parking on Capitol grounds.
The SCRAP Act would end many of these benefits after they leave office, including: Death gratuities for spouses and family; Participation in the Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS), but still able to maintain their Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) accounts; Healthcare benefits; Access to House and Senate floors, and member gyms and dining rooms; Free parking on Capitol grounds and at DC-area airports; Access to House and Senate document rooms; and Use of collections in the House Legislative Resource Center and Senate Library without borrowing privileges.
Former members of Congress should play by the same rules as every day Americans who work for a living before retiring. It is time to end the luxuries that former members of Congress still receive after they leave office at the expense of Americans' tax dollars. These lifetime perks must go to clean up a Congress under the influence of special interests. By ending the access currently allowed to current members, like access to the House and Senate floors and member gyms and dining rooms, we can build a stronger democracy for and by the people, not former elected.
Members of Congress are elected to serve their constituents, not to reap numerous perks for the rest of their lives once they leave office. Most Americans do not have similar lifetime benefits when they leave their job,” said Congressman Norman. “For example, retired members still have the same amount of access throughout the Capitol complex, and over 430 former members of Congress are now lobbyists, representing special interest groups – giving them special, direct contact to sitting members writing legislation. Lifetime access to this exclusive circle keeps them in that circle, and distances former members from the experiences of everyday Americans.

Personal Thoughts on Trump's State of The Union Address

Was not President Trump’s extraordinary accomplishment at his first State of the Union address that left his critics behaviorally hamstrung and short on deportment eye-opening? America could clearly witness what conservatives have been saying for many years: The Democratic Party is no longer the devoted adversary. It’s plainly now just opposition to America. Their comportment, hissing like a cornered feral cat, acting like accomplishment was painful to them and displaying disdain on their faces, demonstrated to America who is for us and who is against us.
If one was watching the address on television, each success Trump announced was celebrated by the American people, and Democrats sat silent in response. If you feel better about jobs, your income, 401K or a tax cut, you saw Democrats sit against it.
Is not Detroit beginning to build cars again? Are not Japan and China and other nations opening plants in America? Is not American energy flowing again? Who could be against that, except Democrats? Americans witnessed that good news for America is bad news for our Democrat politicians. Citizens can see clearly now that success means failure to Democrats. The State of the Union showed Americans who support citizens and who support themselves only.
Did not Democrats shut down the government on the behalf of illegal aliens? Even Democrat voters started to wake up. Closing the government was not to benefit white workers, black workers, or Latino workers. The Democrats were willing to power down the government, hamstring our military, imperil national security and drastically increase our debt to secure the special treatment of non-citizen illegals. The government shutdown was a glimpse into the Democrats’ hearts. But their response at the State of the Union address was a peek into their dark soul. Trump stood for “America first.” Did not Democrats remain seated?
There is a good bet that many liberals tuned into the speech, looking to be entertained by what the fake media described as an irrational man. Liberals witnessed firsthand his lucidity, courage, concern and love of country. Liberals observed a President in command of his faculties. Those liberals who watched the State of the Union Address, now understand Trump is fighting for them because they also want what is best in their lives. Now that the liberal sheep have seen the truth, they will not fall victim to the wolf in progressive clothing.
Did not both conservative and liberal observe the Democratic Party leaders fulminate at a tax cut? Did not they witness the Democrats disgust at more jobs? What did the viewers witness? They saw fake leaders who claim to fight for them, try hard to negotiate against them. We, the people now have a clear picture of the potential greatness of America and clearly see who the “Resistance” is.
We now have a clear choice: We can choose activists and marchers or producers and earners. We can either dismantle America or build it up. To be certain, America is amid a battle for their future. We are facing a great choice. Will the world be better if America is stronger or weaker? Do we walk behind or lead? Do we want to be great again or just one and the same? It is my opinion, the Democrat liberal-induced sheep are beginning to see the light of day. They are now beginning to realize the Democrat party is made up of a pack of wolves masquerading as shepherds.
