It's Not Right or Wrong, it's The Bottom Line

Companies/corporations, regardless of size, are linked in many ways to China, or have some part of their supply chain coming from China, or there are jobs connected to these businesses’ affiliation with China. Good sense, power of reasoning and research, reveals that these same companies/corporations are averse to cut ties with the CCP. Why do you, the reader believe that those businesses that are currently financially linked to China are hesitant to break ties or call out China for their crimes against humanity? Do you suppose they fear imposed sanctions? I personally believe corporate leadership’s trepidation on calling out the CCP’s state led oppression of Muslim Uyghurs, Tibetans, Christians, Falun Gong, and for condemning the violations of their rights and the offenses against them is tied to the bottom line.

History past and present has revealed to me what authoritarian tyrants can do. Anyone who moves through the years of Mao, and Ji’s Marxist rule without understanding that Chinese leadership produces heinous evil as a bee produces honey, must have been blind or not quite right in the head. To the corporate/business leaders, politicos, left-wing ideologues who knowingly turn a blind eye to the ethnic cleansing, I say: It does not matter how long you are spending on the earth, how much money you have gathered or how much attention you have received or political clout you may have attained, you are an anathema to humankind. You who turn your head for financial or political gain and tune out those who are being enslaved, tortured, starved, raped, executed, harvested for body parts... your failure to speak out, to look the other way, and continue business as usual is reprehensible. The underlying ideological message is something like:  Don't think, don't politicize, forget about the true causes of the innocent’s plight.

The Reality of The Winter Olympics in Beijing

That the Winter Olympics is held in Beijing. That America and the West participates sends a signal to the world that Xi Jinping’s government is normal. China's despotic government is anything but normal. Additionally, those people who believe Jinping and China are comparable or somewhat analogous to normalcy are out of touch with reality. Xi, like Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Kim Jong-un, Pol Pot... were and are intolerant, psychologically scarred, self-centered, evil tyrants whose road to the top can be measured with blood of the innocent. And those who expect to reap some immediate or future geopolitical and or financial gains are complicit for the innocent blood spilled and yet to be spilt.

To the reader I ask, is there not so much more to this world than outward appearances? There is so much more. Societies, past and present basked/basks in the illusion of normalcy and then hides from the truth under cover of darkness.

It’s been estimated that over 1 million residents of China’s Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region have been detained internment camps for the alleged purpose of “re-education”, “de-radicalization” and “body parts harvesting”. Those who have fled the region have spoken of the horrors of forced abortions and torture. There is no doubt that the impelling force for this crime against humanity started at the very top of the CCP food chain. Additionally, China continues to abuse other religious minorities, to include Christians, Tibetan Buddhists, and Falun Gong practitioners... The International Olympics Committee has received much deserved criticism, for placing the Winter Games in China.

If the Olympic Games are to be a force for good as the Olympic Committee asserts, while the host regime is committing genocide, slave labor, ethnic cleansing... and other vile aberrant crimes. Additionally, I ask you, the reader, if t’s possible for the Olympic Games to be a force for good, as the IOC asserts, while the host government is committing offences against humanity? Ever since the Chinese government was awarded the Olympics, innumerable human rights violations by Chinese authorities have been documented. The IOC has not met its due diligence despite the well-documented abuses in China.

The pageant of the Olympics cannot cover up genocide, racial killing, ethnic cleansing...  It’s difficult to understand why anyone feels it’s possible to celebrate international friendship and Olympic values in Beijing. Has not China forewarned the participating athletes against speaking out about rights issues, especially against Chinese laws and regulations? If memory serves me right, China has been labeled by the State Department as a “country of particular concern” for egregious religious freedom violations. I would suggest we as a nation, not only censor China but also boycott American companies/corporations that serve as Olympic sponsors.

As a citizen-patriot I argue that America’s leadership must let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any ally, oppose any adversary, to assure the continued existence and triumph of liberty. “Let us never forget, we are one nation under God. “If we fail to remember, then we will be a nation gone under.”

Character Illuminates Wisdom

Just finished watching "Who is Hunter Biden." Following the 4-part documentary several thoughts ran through my mind. The following are but a few: Rank, status, color, faith and even wealth and power, do not necessarily make a person of value to the world, much less their nation. Only his/her character makes one great and worthy of honor. Is it not character that illuminates wisdom? As I view today's top of the rung leadership, I see a lack of both character and wisdom at this point in time. Look no further than Capitol Hill. State and local government, Soro’s financed rouge progressive DA's, education unions, select local school boards, big tech, some streaming services... Solution! Biden could cease catering to his party’s progressive wings fringe, remove the criminals form the equation, and _ _ _ _ (You fill in the blanks).

Biggest Threats to Freedom are Mandates not Truckers

Questions! Are the liberal and questionable mandates being imposed on citizens moral and lawful? No matter what side of the political fence one sits, I ask the reader if these mandates are unempirical, half-baked, spiteful, mean-spirited, and promote segregation? Do not “We the People” have a moral obligation to oppose unjust laws and mandates? Preventing people, specifically truck drivers from bringing essential goods into and out of the U.S. and Canada because of their vaccination status when those drivers are sitting alone inside their cabs, and when the Omicron variant is already on both sides of the border, is really the height of absurdity. Biden like his Canadian counterpart, Pierre Trudeau is attacking personal liberty and threatening everyone’s ability to get foodstuffs and other necessities on grocery shelves and thus, family kitchen tables because of their overreach on vaccine mandates. Consequently, they may very well be the biggest threat to freedom in America and Canada.

New Axis of Evil

Russia Announced War Games with China and Iran that Will ‘Encircle’ Europe. Moscow’s Ministry of Defense announced that Russian leader Vladimir Putin plans to hold naval drills in the Atlantic, Arctic, Mediterranean and the Pacific oceans this month and next, alongside China and Iran. These exercises, including those on land in Belarus, will essentially encircle Europe at the time when Russia is also amassing 100,000 troops on Ukraine’s borders for a potential invasion. The war games will involve “more than 140 warships and support vessels, more than 60 aircraft, 1,000 pieces of military equipment, and about 10,000 servicemen,” the defense ministry said in a statement carried by Russian news agencies. Now I ask the reader, is Russia, China, and Iran the New Axis of Evil? If so, what should our congressional representatives and our 46th POTUS and those within his circle of advisors, to include his Secretary of Defense, military branch secretaries and Joint Chiefs of Staff do in preparation for the inevitable coming conflict that is on the horizon. If not today, then tomorrow? Following an Amry Airborne career spanning 30 years (65-95), I now believe that war is never inevitable until it starts, but there has been a great proclivity in human history, and including in recent history, for war.

Empty Words Go So Far

Russia’s purported plan to install pro-Kremlin leadership in Ukraine is ’deeply concerning,’ says the White House. If the Biden Administration is really concerned, they would have already sent the type weapons, armor vehicles, communication and intel equipment needed to detect and/or deter a Russian invasion/incursion. Joe, your empty words and “promises to retaliate” are a day late and a dollar short. Lest we forget, empty words only go so far... Actions speak louder than words. If the past is an indication of what we can expect from any Biden administration pronouncements, they will speak great swelling words of emptiness.

The Man, The Dream, The Appeal

MLK’s “I Have a Dream" speech is divided into three parts. Part one is an appeal to the nation to live up to its great founding principles. Part two is an appeal to black Americans to rise and act accordingly in the noble cause of the pursuit of liberty and justice. Let’s not drink “from the cup of bitterness.” Part three is an appeal to the ideals of the Christian soul of the nation. Dr. King quoted the prophet Isaiah that “the crooked places will be made straight … and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.” Biblical truths and ideals have been regrettably lost to “wokeism”, which has for all practical purposes become an irreligious religion. The indictment of the “woke” movement is that America is the problem. King offered up America as the solution. He talked about the “magnificent words of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.”

“I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: ‘We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.'” The problem is not America or the eternal truths that were brought to bear in its founding. The problem was the failure of the nation to live up to the challenges of its great founding principles. That was the heart of Dr. King’s message. He appealed to the nation to realize the dream of its Founding Fathers, not to crush it and bury it, as we hear today.

The problem is not white people. “The marvelous new militancy … must not lead us to a distrust of all white people,” he said. And, of course, the most memorable and oft-quoted line of the speech, “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.”

Let’s honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by revisiting and taking to heart the great truths he spoke in his “I Have a Dream” speech. They are great truths that have very sadly been cast to the side and replaced with the religion of politics and power. Let us honor King by seeing America as he presented it then, as embodying the ideals of a free nation under God.
