Nothing Say's Peaceful Protest Like a BLM Hatefest

From everything I read about poor Keith Lamont Scott, formally of Charlotte, NC he was what many criminologists would describe as a reprobate. Did his rap sheet not include convictions of several assault with deadly weapons? His record of virtue included "assault on a child under 12" and "assault on a female."

The media spin; "Family and neighbors call Scott a quiet 'family man.'" Nothing says "quiet" like "assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill" and nothing says "family man" like assaulting women and children. Keith Lamont Scott, the latest martyr of Black Lives Matter and its media propaganda corps, was shot while waving a gun around. He had spent 7 years in jail for "aggravated assault with a deadly weapon." This vicious monster's career of crime ended when he was shot by Brentley Vinson, an African-American police officer, protecting himself from the latest rampage by this "quiet family man." Brentley Vinson is everything that Scott isn't. The son of a police officer, Brentley followed in his father's footsteps.

Except that Obama, Black Lives Matter, the media, the NAACP and everyone else going after this bright and decent African-American officer has decided that what we really need are more Keith Lamont Scotts. And the streets of Charlotte are full of "Scotts" throwing rocks at police, assaulting reporters and wrecking everything in sight in marches that are as "peaceful" as Scott was a "quiet family man." That's what Hillary Clinton wanted when she tweeted that, "We have two names to add to a long list of African-Americans killed by police officers. It's unbearable, and it needs to become intolerable."

What exactly should be intolerable? An African-American police officer defending his life against a violent criminal who happened to be black? Should black criminals enjoy a special immunity? The greatest victims of black criminals are black communities. Whom does Hillary Clinton imagine she's helping here? Instead of standing with heroic African-American police officers like Vinson, she's championing criminal filth like Scott.

Tim Kaine, Hillary's No. 2, wants us to think about Scott's family. We should do that. Scott's brother announced on camera that all "white people" are "devils." Timmy should check to see if he can get an exemption from white “devildom.” But if there are any white devils, it's men like Kaine and women like Hillary who enable the worst behavior in a troubled community while punishing those who try to help.

Did it not cross the minds of both Hillary and Timmy Boy, every time the lie about "peaceful" protests are repeated, another black community becomes a wasteland? What were these two thinking when the “peaceful” protests turned violent. What were these two wishful political aspirants pondering when these protesters began peacefully shooting each other? Lest we forget, a Walmart was peacefully looted.  And what about the law enforcement officer who was peacefully hit by the car? Another was peacefully hit in the face with a rock? Mobs besieged and attempted to break into hotels. “Reporters were attacked” and a photographer was nearly “thrown into a fire.” White people were targeted by the racist Black Lives Matter mob and assaulted. To Hillary and Timmy Boy, these peaceful rioters were probably just quiet family men too.

That's the laughable premise of the racist Black Lives Matter hatefest that alternates between "Stop killing us" street theater and violent assaults on police officers. These are the malign forces destroying Charlotte, as they trashed Baltimore, as they burned Ferguson. On the ground there are the vulture community organizers of Black Lives Matter, funded by the left, who infiltrate in to organize race riots, behind them are the reporters who sell the spin live on the air and the photographers who capture glamor shots of the racist rioters, and after them come the lawyers of the DOJ out to ruin, terrorize and intimidate whatever law enforcement survived the riots. They did it in Ferguson and a dozen other places. Now they want to do it in Charlotte.

They want to do it because they hate white people and black people. They hate peace and decency. They hate the idea of people getting up in the morning and working for a living. They hate the idea of good officers, white and black men and women, who genuinely believe in doing the right thing. They want unearned power. They demand unearned wealth. And they thrive on destruction. This is the real evil in Charlotte. And we need to stand up to it. The truth is that Keith Lamont Scott was a violent criminal who came to a bad end because of his own actions. Just like Michael Brown, Freddie Gray and too many other Black Lives Matter martyrs to count.

The truth is that everything Black Lives Matter does reminds us of why we need police officers. The truth is that this is not about race, but about those who want to build and those who want to destroy.
It's about what kind of country we want to be. Is it a country that celebrates a young black man who chose to follow in his father's footsteps, who organized bible study and helped others? Obama, Hillary, Timmy Boy and the left want a nation of Keith Lamont Scotts. But now it's our turn to choose.

Real Leadership is Colorblind, Failed Leadership is Color Conscious

While watching the Mets-Marlins game I came away with some thoughts I would like to share. If you want to know how much Barack Obama has contributed to racial division in America, just watch an NFL game. The National Football League, which once went out of its way to emphasize patriotism, has now, with a crucial go ahead from Obama, become a propaganda wing of Black Lives Matter. Players kneel with averted heads and raise clenched fists during the national anthem to deliver the message that America is an irredeemably racist country. On the other hand, while watching a “tribute” baseball game between two rivals I discovered, contrary to select opinions, patriotism and a spirit of friendship and community in a group can and does exist. More amazing, it exists between ethnocentric lines. Last night I observed Brown, Black, Asian and White’s alike bid a 24-year-old Hispanic farewell, following his untimely death in a boating accident early Sunday morning. I now know the difference between real leadership and pretend governance. I see the world of sports as shades of color. I see Major League Baseball as colorblind. I see the NFL as an entity that permeates color conscious instead of color blind. The latter, like our nation’s current leadership is blinded by ill-perceived ethos and lack of character at the top.

San Francisco back-up quarterback Colin Kaepernick started it. But the President, in the middle of a crucial meeting of world leaders in Beijing, couldn't keep himself from jumping into the controversy, praising Kaepernick for caring about "real, legitimate issues" and strengthening "the democratic process." And how had Kaepernick helped our democracy? By charging that there were black bodies "in the streets" because racist police officers were "getting away with murder."

In fact, has this not been Obama's own message, although delivered in more polished language, all during his presidency? The candidate who promised to get us "beyond race" has made America more racially divided than at any time since the sixties. Has Obama not insisted for the last eight years that America has racism in its DNA? Did Obama not give his first Attorney General, Eric Holder, the go ahead to color code the Department of Justice's approach to race and the law? If I am not mistaken did not Obama summon racial arsonist Al Sharpton to the White House far too many times?  Did not Obama leave America’s law enforcement officers blowing in the wind by honoring Black Lives Matter, a group that has done more than any other to set our streets on fire and bring racial conflict back into America's daily experience?

But the President and his "progressive" backers who preposterously hailed Kaepernick as the second coming of MLK couldn't resist the opportunity to once again tar and feather America, as they have for the last eight years. The damage they have done to our social fabric will be the President's enduring legacy. I contend, that America’s slide into racial animosity is a direct result of Obama’s lack of leadership. Never say we were not warned about the consequences of the vindictive effort to make our nation color conscious instead of color blind.
I have pointed out in past posts, the real tragedy of race in America: that some 93 percent of black murders are committed by other blacks. We have emphasized that the police, rather than being rampaging murderers as Kaepernick and his ilk suggest, are the black community's last best hope against the reign of terror by black criminals.
We have been in the forefront of the effort to hold Obama and all other cynical leftists responsible for the tragedy their policies have visited upon helpless minorities in our urban centers, controlled by Democrat politicians for a generation. The Obama era is thankfully ending, but the Left's destructive racial politics will persist. Police will continue to be demonized, making them reluctant to go into black areas to help those in danger. Demonstrations that have turned Charlotte and other cities into racial war zones will still be encouraged. The Left will continue to smile as the street violence intensifies and racial animosity it has caused comes home to roost.

Why not a Second Generation Italian American

America is in such deep “kimchi” that it appears that the only solution to save this great nation is for me to jump into the election as a write-in candidate. My slogan: “You could do a lot worse.” As I reluctantly accept the nomination of my new party, which for lack of a better name I shall label “Why Not Me Party,” it’s important to point out that the fact that I am a palpably nonpareil candidate in nearly every way to any of those currently running is not a reflection of my quality or state of being awe-inspiring. Rather, it is a damning indictment – someone please go explain to FBI Director James Comey what that word means because I’m not sure he understands – of our collective decision to forgo actual leadership and instead invest power in one of four sad sacks who may very well be unfit to serve as POTUS much less "piss in the wind."

First, let’s look at experience. Now, Hillary has a lot of experience. She’s been a failed First Lady. She’s been a failed Senator. She’s been a failed Secretary of State. No, I have none of those experiences. Advantage, me.

I served in the Army from 1965-1995 and graduated from both Army and USMC Command and General Staff College and Attended the Army War College's Defense Strategy Course. Donald Trump learned the art of command watching “the shows.” He also wants to terminate a  bunch of sycophantic Flag Officers and bring back those who proved their value in pillaging those we conquered. So we’ll call that a draw. Our Libertarian candidate, Johnson thinks we should never use the military unless one of the original 13 colonies is invaded by an apparition of King George III. He also likes pot, though it’s hard to imagine a chronically high CINC being worse than the one we have now. Now, who is this Dr. Jill Stein again?

Then there is the issue of who understands basic security protocols. I had a security clearance and worked with CLASSIFIED material. So did Hillary. Unfortunately, she worked with classified material using her Prodigy.net account and her Jitterbug phone. I, on the other hand followed Standard Operating Procedures while handling “CLASSIFIED” material.  Again advantage, me. Trump is aces on computer security since he apparently doesn’t send emails and only uses them to make tweets. He also demonstrates his mastery of foreign languages in those little 140-character messages. Wait, what? He thinks he’s tweeting in English? Sad! It is said that Gary Johnson made a bong out of his Apple II. Seriously, who is Dr. Jill Stein?

How about honesty? I’m a Retired Army Officer and North Carolina High School teacher, and both Hillary and Trump are demonstrably more corrupt than I am. Let that roll around in your head for a while. From his own mouth we know that Gary Johnson is honest as the day is long. He is a politician is he not? This Dr. Jill Stein isn’t really a thing, is she?

Then there’s ideology. I’m a conservative. Hillary’s a liberal. Donald Trump is a Donald Trump. Gary Johnson is a libertarian who doesn’t believe in liberty except when it involves chemtrails or hemp. And Dr. Jill Stein? Who can say, but it’s going to be some environmental nonsense.

Finally, there’s health. I can totally climb stairs and get into my SUV. My coughing and sneezing bouts are seasonal events and last mere seconds. I don’t have a handler to keep me from wandering off after squirrels. Were the FBI to ask me stuff, I think I’d remember. My liver’s fine. Though ,I did have a knee replacement last week. I guess that makes climbing stairs out. Then there’s poor, sick, tired Hillary. She’s not well. I’m deeply concerned that the rigors of the campaign are taking a toll on her. Maybe she could use a Halls lozenge for that cough. And some sleep. And a juice cleanse. Or an enema.

Trump looks good for a guy his age. I mean, clearly he’s a vital and Atlas strong kind of guy who ingests aphrodisiac intravenously. His raw physical energy is obviously the foundation of his and his wife's relationship. Gary Johnson is in remarkable shape for someone whose lungs have taken such a pounding. Dr. Jill Stein, probably follows some sort of weird diet that involves roots, exotic leaves and twigs. See, you don’t want to go there. When Bill Clinton was president, for all his faults, he had the healthy glow and jaunty demeanor of a man who savored Big Macs. Now he’s on some vegan regimen and he looks like the Crypt keeper’s decaying brother.

In short, objectively, I am a significantly better choice for president than any of these people. Which means that pretty much anyone is a significantly better choice for president than any of these people. When you come right down to it, I am the man who imbibers don’t bother at bars trying to get him to karaoke. As for the other guy (me) – I’m first in line to donate when he runs for Congress – but here’s a newsflash. He’s not going to win. Nor are Johnson or Stein. So it’s either Donald Trump or old, sick Hillary, and it’s never, ever going to be Hillary if I have anything to say about it. That means I have to vote for Trump.

The Perils of Multiculturalism is Extinction Part 5 of 5

Now ask yourself, does this post not have validity? Does this commentary not produce a chilling apprehension of what might very well be happening? Has this post not convinced the reader everything enumerated was proceeding systematically, unobtrusively, menacingly, yet ubiquitously across America today? Every discussion is being suppressed. Over 100 languages tear the foundation of our educational system and national cohesiveness. Barbaric cultures that practice female genital mutilation, terror, honor killings, cock fighting, Voodoo and worse–grow as we celebrate ‘diversity’. American jobs vanish into the Third World as avaricious corporations create a Third World in America—take note of California and other states—to date, 20 million illegal aliens and growing, fast. Indeed, California is becoming “Mexifornia.”
If you look around you, our President and this Congress are dismantling America by either design or fault. Call it ‘multi-culturalism’ or ‘diversity’ or ‘one world government’ or ‘globalism’. In the end, it will mean the finish of the United States of America as a free, cohesive, sustainable and functioning society. Does it not remind you as it does me of George Orwell’s book, “1984.” In that story, three slogans are engraved in the Ministry of Truth building: “War is peace,” “Freedom is slavery,” and “Ignorance is strength.” Has it yet to dawn on you, the reader, that our nation and the future of this great republic are deeply in trouble and worsening fast. An invasion of diseases, clashing cultures, languages, balkinization, mounting environmental dilemmas accelerate by the day. If this immigration monster isn’t stopped within a few years, it will rage across the United States like a Southern California wildfire and destroy everything in its path, especially the American Dream.
Finally, immigrants drive our population into doubling within the next 60 years to over 600 million people. Remember this–the line never ends as the world grows by 80 million desperate people annually. Dr. David Bartlett once stated: “Can you think of any problem in any area of human endeavor on any scale, from microscopic to global, whose long-term solution is in any demonstrable way–aided, assisted, or advanced by further increases in population, locally, nationally or globally?” If you as an American citizen continue standing by saying nothing, this country is going down the proverbial train. Everything you work and hope for—will not be there for your children. It’s time for your participation. Conviction without action is worthless.
We are in America, are we not? Has not English been spoken since its inception? At one time, every immigrant that attained citizenship learned to speak English. But many of today’s hundreds of thousands of illegal and legal immigrants along with some of our several “generations past” immigrants, now citizens, steer America’s language and culture into a fragmented multilingual mass of manure. Without the ability to speak to ourselves, do we not fracture at the core of our national foundation? Without a common language, are we as a people communicating one to another? Chaos in our cities, classrooms and within society in general, display little reason to sustainment of a multiculturalism mindset. What I see is common place ill-mannered comportment. Without the ability to speak to ourselves, do we not fracture the core of our national foundation? Have the American people not witnessed the fracturing of other, once prosperous and prominent nations? Have you ever wondered why these once prosperous counties leaders allowed the degradation of their own languages and cultures? The follow-on question requires some introspection. Why would America and her leaders allow the presence of, or support for the presence of, multiple distinct cultural or ethnic groups within a society to displace their languages and culture? Why would you allow the degradation of our own culture and language?

The Perils of Multiculturalism is Extinction Part 4 of 5

Now ask yourself, does this post not have validity? Does this commentary not produce a chilling apprehension of what might very well be happening? Has this post not convinced the reader everything enumerated was proceeding systematically, unobtrusively, menacingly, yet ubiquitously across America today? Every discussion is being suppressed.

Call it ‘multiculturalism’ or ‘diversity by perversity’ or ‘one world government’ or ‘globalism’. Finally, immigrants drive our population into doubling within the next 60 years to over 600 million people. Remember this–the line never ends as the world grows by 80 million desperate people annually. Dr. David Bartlett once stated: “Can you think of any problem in any area of human endeavor on any scale, from microscopic to global, whose long-term solution is in any demonstrable way–aided, assisted, or advanced by further increases in population, locally, nationally or globally?” If you as an American citizen continue standing by saying nothing, this country is going down the toilet. Why would you allow the degradation of our own culture and language?

Seventh, “I would place all subjects off limits—make it taboo to talk about anything against the cult of ‘diversity’. I would find a word similar to ‘heretic’ in the 16th century—that stopped discussion and paralyzed thinking.” Think about it! Lexes like ‘racist’ or ‘xenophobe’ would halt discussion and debate. At every juncture today, anti-American groups like La Raza, which are pro illegal alien Mexican groups on U.S. soil–scream ‘racism’ if anyone protests illegal migration. You have to wonder what will happen when they gain majority populations? Will they allow us to use the word ‘racism’ as they promote their agenda of ‘Mexico of Disambiguation’ while they break our country into pieces? At upwards to 11.2 million Mexicans now transplanted onto U.S. soil, they are well on their way.

Having made America a bilingual–bicultural country, having established multiculturalism, having the large foundations fund the doctrine of ‘Victimology’,” Finally, make it “impossible to enforce our immigration laws. Develop a mantra: That because immigration has been good for America, it must always be good. Make every individual immigrant sympatric and ignore the cumulative impact of millions of them.”

The Perils of Multiculturalism is Extinction Part 3 of 5

Fourth, “I would make our fastest growing demographic group the least educated. I would add a second underclass, unassimilated, undereducated and antagonistic to our population. I would have this second underclass have a 50 percent dropout rate from high school.” After extrapolating data from various sources, to include the National Center for Educational Statistics I am able to say, with reasonable validity that nearly 50 percent of Hispanics dropout out of school. This does not take into account those Hispanics who illegally cross the border and never attend school. As a former high school teacher, I can say, that a school system that inherits large populations of immigrant children who can’t speak English and arrive from functionally illiterate parents suffers from the infusion of hundreds of these alien kids They can’t perform academically because their parents have no interest or background in viable educational processes. Those kids think a remote control takes the place of homework. A similar crisis happens from LA to Atlanta and from Chicago to Miami. However, democracy requires four disciplines to flourish while remaining viable. It requires an educated population that possesses a similar moral and ethical foundation while speaking the same language. The United States, via massive immigration, is losing all four aspects. It cannot and will not remain viable much longer with the disruption of its educational systems. Conflicting languages open a whole new can of worms to the crisis.

Fifth point for destroying America would be “to get big foundations and business to give these efforts lots of money. I would invest in ethnic identity, and I would establish the cult of ‘Victimology’. I would get all minorities to think their lack of success was the fault of the majority. I would start a grievance industry blaming all minority failure on the majority population.” While a few elites in high places make billions of dollars, they corrupt America’s rule of law and undermine the Middle Class. If you’ll notice—Third World countries do not sustain a Middle Class. They suffer a high class and a low class. America moves in that direction every day of this immigrant invasion.

There is No Escaping Hypocrisy

First, some background prior to me expressing outrage, disappointment and commenting on same. Any American who has sought refuge from politics by escaping into the world of sports realizes now that there is no escaping politics. In the last few months, it has become completely impossible to follow sports without being lectured about the oppressive ways of the United States, and its failures to achieve the highest of today's cultural goals: "inclusion." Leave that word in quotation marks because in the guise of "inclusion" people will be most righteously excluded. In the name of "tolerance," those condemned for intolerance will be boycotted and punished, unless they genuflect to ever-evolving "anti-discrimination" dictates.

My state of residence, North Carolina is being tarred and feathered in the sports world because it passed a measure in March stating that the state's public schools would abide by boy-girl divisions dating back to the arrival of man. The law said, "Local boards of education shall require every multiple occupancy bathroom or changing facility that is designated for student use to be designated for and used only by students based on their biological sex." This, according to the gender-deconstructing left, is the "new Jim Crow," a cruel and unusual punishment of students who reject the gender they were "assigned at birth." Obama's Department of Justice used the media-created clamor, replete with a specter victimology, to mandate bathroom "inclusion" on every public school in America. Liberal state and local governments banned travel to North Carolina. Hollywood studios cancelled plans to film there. Musicians cancelled their concerts. But the most dramatic action came in the sports world.

While I recognize this legislation is complicated by society’s continued blurring of the lines of gender and sexual identity, I also recognize the profound hypocrisy of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), National Coooegiate Athletic Association) NCAA, professional sports leagues and other companies and organizations who are making calculated business decisions disguised as moral outrage.  I am vexed by the vote of the ACC Council of Presidents to move conference championships from North Carolina in protest of legislation requiring people to use public bathrooms that correspond with their birth gender. The NCAA and ACC’s say their decision is “one of principle” and that “core values…are of utmost importance.” Well, millions of us who oppose the decision do so as a matter of principle and core values—values of privacy, safety and protection of our children in public restrooms, and the principle that God created just two genders and assigned them at birth. Furthermore, I take offense to both the NCAA and ACC who continue to use student athletes as pawns for both political and financial gain. And don’t continue to offend millions of Americans who endorse thousands of years of gender-specific privies/bathrooms while you continue to accept corporate sponsorship money from companies proudly conducting their business in countries that discriminate against homosexuals to the point of death. Where is this outrage? Has the committee pulled the plug on sponsorships by Dr. Pepper, Toyota and any number of other companies? Does not the ACC and NCAA accept sponsorship money from enterprises that operate in nations that are oppressive to those who live the gay lifestyle and who are gender confused? Is this not the height of hypocrisy?

The Perils of Multiculturalism is Extinction Part 2 of 5

Lamm continues his train of thought on how to destroy America, “Invent ‘multiculturalism’ and encourage immigrants to maintain their own culture. I would make it an article of belief that all cultures are equal. That there are no cultural differences! I would make it an article of faith that the Black and Hispanic dropout rates are due to prejudice and discrimination by the majority. Every other explanation is out of bounds.” Truer words have not been spoken since. Any fool can see that Los Angeles, California or Miami, Florida are no longer American cities. Chicago, Houston, Dallas, Chicago, New York, Atlanta, San Francisco and many other cities are not far behind. Immigrants arrive at over four million per year, so fast and so many, that they are not assimilating into the American Dream. However, they are creating the American Nightmare for Americans. You might even be insulted if you spoke English. You would more than likely be given the evil eye or cold shoulder in the immigrant enclaves of many of those cities already mentioned. Then again, I digress. What brought on the nightmare I earlier mentioned? The nightmare accompanies the more than 41.3 million immigrant population (legal and illegal) in 2013. It was doubled the number in 1990, nearly tripled the number in 1980 and quadruple that in 1970, when it stood at 9.6 million. Note; these figures may very well be conservative.
Here's a novel idea. Why not make America a "Hispanic Quebec"? We could do so without much effort. The key is to celebrate diversity rather than unity. As was written a few years back, “The apparent success of our own multi-ethnic and multi-cultural experiment might have been achieved not by tolerance but by hegemony. Without the dominance that once dictated ethnocentrically and what it meant to be an American, we are left with only tolerance and pluralism to hold us together.”
Over the past few years have we not witnessed minorities, to include Muslims, Hispanics and others protest our way of governing? Have we not seen many of these minorities disrespect our Republican form of government where each of us is afforded our rights to free speech? Ironically, many of these are American minority students whose families have been in the U.S. for generations. It is apparent to me that many American Muslim students do not realize that this is America. No wonder their counterparts in the Middle East and Africa only know how to load a gun, activate an IED or blow themselves up!

As an afterthought, why not encourage all immigrants to keep their own language and culture? Why not replace the melting pot metaphor with the salad bowl metaphor? It is important to ensure that we have various cultural sub-groups living in America reinforcing their differences rather than as Americans, emphasizing their similarities.

The Perils of Multiculturalism is Extinction Part 1 of 5

Diversity is perversity,” which is a saying that I attribute to Dr. Michael Weiner.  This is not an attack on ethnic and racial diversity, but rather an attack on multiculturalism and "forced" diversity. One might even refer to it as reverse racism. Don't get me wrong, I think it's great when people with diverse backgrounds get along, just not when they are forced to by government, academia or corporate America. All this in the name of political correctness, is a fall waiting to happen.
I realize, pointing out dangers of multiculturalism in America today is like criticizing motherhood in a conversation with the recently canonized (and well deserved) Mother Teresa. Nevertheless, when  rban overpopulation, lack of jobs, staple shortages, increasing debt, and chaos in the streets begin to emerge as the foremost threat to the survival of America, that criticism may be warranted. A similar argument might be presented against the well intentioned promotion of ethnicity anywhere today in a world being wrecked by tribal violence--and especially in a country like the United States where, even now, the center is just barely holding against the forces of fragmentation.

While researching a prior post on the economic impact of illegal immigration, I began formulating a commentary as it relates to America and perils of multiculturalism, diversity and political correctness. Key to this brainchild of mine and the motivation to write this commentary was threefold. First, socio-econ and political changes I have observed over the past few decades that give me rising concerns about America’s future. Second, historical research on long dead, once great empires/civilizations. Third, writings and oratory clarity by Arnold Toynbee, Lamm, Bartlett, Orwell, Weiner and Hutcheon. Of these influential learned men, I found Toynbee, Lamm, Hutcheon and Weiner most philosophically aligned with my train of thoughts as it pertains to multiculturalism and diversity. Being already familiar with Toynbee and Orwell, I concentrated the works and words of Lamm, Weiner, Bartlett and Hutcheon. Never one to shy away from controversy, I chose to piggy-back on one of Lamm's  presentations; The Dangers of Multiculturalism.  Essentially, all of the authorities highlighted speak about the potentiality of multiculturalism and diversity leading to the demise of nations, to include the United States of America. Lamm, particularly addresses the subject in a unique and interesting manner. For brevities sake I will capsulize the writings and/or oratorio (in italics) and make personal and appropriate comments.

Lamm said, “If you believe that America is too smug, too self-satisfied, too rich, then let’s destroy America. It is not that hard to do. No nation in history has survived the ravages of time. Arnold Toynbee observed that all great civilizations rise and fall, and that, “An autopsy of history would show that all great nations commit suicide.”

Here is the blueprint for America’s destruction: “First, turn America into a bilingual or multi lingual and bicultural country. History shows that no nation can survive the tension, conflict and antagonism of two or more competing languages and cultures.” Admittedly, it is a blessing for an individual to be bilingual; however, it may very well be a curse for a society to be bilingual. The histories of bilingual and bicultural societies that do not assimilate are histories of turmoil, tension and tragedy. Is this not happening as we speak?

Without the ability to speak to ourselves, we fracture to the core of our national foundation. Without a common language, we cannot and do not communicate.  All one has to do is watch the news, read a paper, peruse any internet search engine and witness other nations fracturing today because their leaders allowed their immigrants to displace their language and culture, even laws. Unhappy and unhealthy examples abound: France, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Austria, Deutschland, Quebec, Malaysia, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, Belgium, Pakistan…They all face internal turbulence and disorder. Pakistan and Cyprus have divided. Much of the Middle East, Africa, Turkey and Russia have suppressed or are in the process of suppressing minority ethnic rebellions.

Since the Attack What has Transpired

Fifteen years after the bloodbath of 9/11, American foreign policy is still mired in its calcified tenets and dangerous delusions. The consequences are obvious. Iran, the world's principal state sponsor of terrorism and long an avowed enemy of the United States, has filled the vacuum of our ignominious withdrawal from the Middle East, even as the mullahs move ever closer to acquiring nuclear weapons. Russia, Iran's improbable ally, bombs civilians in Syria, kills the Syrian fighters we have trained, intimidates its neighbor Ukraine, strengthens its take-over of the Crimea, and unremittingly pursues its interests with disregard for international law and contempt for our feeble protests. Iraq, for which thousands of Americans bled and died, is now a puppet state of Iran. Afghanistan is poised to be overrun by the Taliban in a few years, "ISIS/al Qaeda 2.0, continues to inspire franchises throughout the world and to murder European and American citizens."

So much for the belief, frequently heard in the months after the attacks of 9/11, that "this changes everything." The smoking ruins and 3000 dead surely had awoken us from our delusions that the "end of history" and a "new world order" had followed the collapse of the Soviet Union, "a world in which nations recognize the shared responsibility for freedom and justice. A world where the strong respect the rights of the weak," as President George Bush once said. The following decade seemed to confirm this optimism. Didn't we stop Saddam Hussein’s aggression against his neighbors? Didn't we punish the Serbs for their unappeasable depredations in the Balkans? With American military power providing the muscle, the institutions of international cooperation like NATO would patrol and protect the network of new democracies that were set to evolve into versions of Western nations and enjoy such godsends as individual rights, diplomatic freedom, leisure and prosperity, broad-mindedness for minorities, equality for women, and a benevolent secularism.

The gruesome mayhem of 9/11 should have alerted us to the fact many Muslims didn't get the memo about history's demise. Indeed, long before that tragic day in September, we had been warned that history still had some unpleasant surprises. Theorists of neo-jihadism for decades had laid out the case for war against the infidel West and its aggression against Islam. Is it not the nature of Islam to dominate not to be dominated, to impose its laws on all nations and extend its power to the entire planet. Do you think Islam, it’s Ayatollah’s and Mullah’s, who study jihad not understand why Islam wants to conquer the whole world? This religion is not one of peace, otherwise its writings who paint a different picture. Does not Islam say: “Kill all the unbelievers." Were we not forewarned by jihadists that a religious war would come? But few of those responsible for our security and interests had ears to hear or eyes to see. Not even when the words became bloody deeds did we listen. The bombing of the Beirut Marine barracks, which killed 241 servicemen. The humiliating televised abuse of our dead soldiers in Mogadishu, followed by our withdrawal. The first World Trade Center attack, an operation inspired by al Qaeda and traditional jihadist doctrine. And the last warning came in October of 2000, when the destroyer Cole was attacked by a fishing boat loaded with explosive. Yet during these two decades of attacks that proved the jihadists' words were not just bluster, we did little in response. We interpreted the attacks as crimes, not battles in a war, and reflections of poverty, autocracy, or vague "evil," rather than as the fulfillment of Allah's divine commands. Instead, Clinton launched cruise missiles that made a lot of noise but accomplished nothing, limited as those attacks were by timid rules of engagement. His foreign policy was internationalist and idealist, seeing the spread of democracy and the promotion of human rights as paramount in foreign affairs. America's presence needed to be reduced in the world, and the use of force should be a last resort, and even then carefully calibrated to avoid international condemnation and American casualties. "Dialogue" and "outreach" were preferable! The wages of that delusion were the burned and dismembered bodies in Manhattan, the Pentagon, and a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

This history is worth reviewing, for all these mistakes, these failures of imagination, these indulgences of naïve idealism, these sacrifices of our security and interests to political advantage, all comprise the "everything" that 9/11 was supposed to "change." But here we are, fifteen years later, with a similar history of folly. I am of the opinion, George W. Bush pursued a delusional program of democracy promotion in Iraq and Afghanistan, with little appreciation for the profound cultural differences between Islam and the West. But he at least left his successor a stabilized Iraq, which Obama quickly abandoned just to fulfill a campaign promise and assert his progressive agenda. Did not Obama draw "red lines" in the sand that were not to be crossed, only to do nothing when they were crossed, and to sacrifice this country's credibility in his pursuit of the disastrous deal with Iran, disregarding several decades worth of American blood? Was not ISIS allowed to flourish in the vacuum created by our withdrawal, creating a bellum omnium contra omnes, a Latin phrase meaning “war of all against all”?
1.
Perhaps worst of all, Obama has turned jihad denial into a fatal disease. He is not alone in this delusion, for "religion of peace" and "nothing to do with Islam" have been mantras chanted by our foreign policy savants going back to the Iranian Revolution. At present those devotees of Jihad, all have grounded their violence and aggression in Islamic scripture and tradition. Our self-righteous Western analysts and advocators dismiss the jihadists' explication as a "hijacking" or "distortion" of the "true" Islam, presuming to understand the Islamic faith better than devout Muslims do. So we half-heartedly fight an enemy whose name we cannot even say, and whose religion of violence we desperately distort into a religion of peace and tolerance. Meanwhile, like Bill Clinton, and now Obama we use bombs and drones
having an appearance or manner that is appealing on television. Let us call it what it is, telegenic marketing tools to hide our failure of nerve and short-sighted political calculations.

So fifteen years later, we still sleep. And don't expect things to change after November. Neither candidate has shown any indication he or she is willing to make the hard decisions required to destroy ISIS and reaffirm American prestige. Trump issues vague threats about "bombing the s---" out of ISIS, while Hillary chatters about "smart power" and "coalitions," doubling down on Obama's failing policy. But no one proposes using the mind-concentrating levels of force, including troops as well as bombs, necessary to repair our broken foreign policy in the Middle East. Too many voters are in an isolationist mood, sick of wars and casualties, and concerned more about jobs and the economy. Being both a retired career Army Officer, who served in two conflicts and a retired North Carolina teacher, I to, am concerned about the state of the nation, its moods, its casualties of war, jobs and the economy.

The attacks on 9/11 supposedly "changed everything." When it comes to foreign policy, they changed nothing.  Do you, the reader, like me tremble to think how much worse the destruction and death will have to be to wake us up?

Hillary's World and it Ain't Pretty

Is not our economy for all intents and purposes treading water? Are not illegal immigrants placing a strain on Americans’ jobs here, while Hillary’s Wall Street associates get rich shipping the jobs the aliens haven’t stolen yet to foreign workers overseas? This type aberrant behavior leads me to conclude that Wall street is spending hundreds of millions of dollars trying to help Hillary steal this election. Their economic treason rolls on. I ask when will it end? When will these economic criminals face justice?

Does not Chaos rule our urban streets? Has Hillary Clinton acted in any manner to bring to an end the war on Law Enforcement Officers, the radical Muslim massacres, and the explosion of violent crime except to pass unconstitutional laws to disarm law abiding citizens? Is there not a smidgen of truth that Hillary, with the help of a Supreme Court that ignores our rights, has turned millions of us into criminals while leaving us to be harassed, harmed and perhaps murdered at the hands of people whose votes she wanted. Would it not be nice to put the days of the police-hating organizations that Hillary tolerated in the rear view mirror? Would it not be a good thing to put an end to radical Muslims infiltrating our nation? Why not obstruct the door to potential terrorists and root them out? Is it not time to reverse the hooligan policies Hillary used to steal votes?

Likewise, would it not serve this nation well if the Obama/Clinton Flag Officers who refuse to do whatever it takes to win be put out to pasture? Now, let us remove the impediments that restrain us. Would it not be right to safeguard our sons and daughters as the elite’s do when deciding to partake in another elitist, neocon war? If we must fight, why not do whatever it takes to win. The elite labels that strategy “torture” or “war crimes” but it really means that your sons and daughters won’t die because of the elite’s precious feelings.

Indeed, Hillary Clinton is Unrivaled

As the embodiment of a feminist, Hillary Clinton is allegedly unrivaled. And yet the more that is revealed, one can't help noticing that something in Hillary's complexion doesn't quite measure-up with the cogent, competent and able, suffragette image at all: the lady is downright helpless. Despite her much-touted recommence, Hillary seems to need a great deal of custodial nanny care from her staff and appears never to have put together a specific operational concept of what serving as America’s chief envoy required beyond booking trips to as many nations as imaginable.

Though Hillary Clinton was not prosecuted for security breaches, did not FBI Director James Comey call Mrs. Clinton's handling of classified emails as Secretary of State "extremely careless" and added that there was "evidence to support a conclusion that any reasonable person in Secretary Clinton's position . . . should have known that an unclassified system was no place for that conversation."

Can one believe, as secretary of state, Clinton never bothered to become skilled at the system by which the nation's secrets are protected? Maybe she was confounded by details or maybe she was just slothful in discussing classified information, in addition to being disingenuous, she does seem authentically confused. As we know from recent surfaced reports, Hillary Clinton continued to email classified information as a private citizen after she left the State Department. Is it just me that is mystified by Clinton’s actions or are their others who share similar concerns as to her competence to take this nation’s highest mantle of leadership.

Are You an "Uneducated Voter"

If the democratic party or the main stream media is referring to Trump supporters who happen to be male Caucasians suffering from a lack of knowledge brought about by an absence of formal or practical instruction, then I guess ‘uneducated white men’ is a reasonable portrayal. However, if the Trump supporters in question are being labelled ‘uneducated’ by the same just mentioned entities simply because they did not earn a post-secondary degree, As Mike Rowe would say, “their slip is showing.” Well, that last statement, is probably not viewed by some as politically correct. If it offends the reader and, if it is perceived as failing to exhibit political correctness, so be it.

Now let us look back at the last two election cycles. Did the progressive “peoples party” or their lap dog, the mainstream media appear in the least concerned with the issue of “uneducated voters”? To my knowledge, the term “uneducated voters” was not uttered by a single liberal ideologue during the last two presidential elections. In the last election, an even greater majority of African-American males who voted for President Obama had no college on their resume. Maybe I missed it, but I don’t recall any headlines or articles that delved into Obama’s popularity among "uneducated black men."

If the democrats and their media darlings did not care about the lack of college among black men supporting Obama, why do they care so much about the lack of college among white men supporting Trump? Moreover, when exactly did a lack of college become synonymous with a lack of education? There are many ways to become educated that do not involve the indebtedness or procurement of a college degree. Why would the media ignore thousands of apprenticeship or intern programs, on-the-job-training opportunities, and all the other high-quality didactic options that have led so many people into so many fruitful careers? The answer is obvious – many in the press are looking for ways to impact the election. If a biased reporter can get away with labeling Trump supporters who failed to attend or graduate from college as uneducated, he can concurrently infer that any ballot cast for Trump is the hallmark of an ‘uneducated’ voter.

During my lifetime I have met hundreds of well trained, very intelligent, highly knowledgeable citizens who went on to thrive without the benefit of academia experience. These people should be applauded, not used as poker chips by candidates, political figures, commentators and reporters with a political agenda.

To those who work for a living, and this coming from a person who is both a college graduate and a retired career Army officer, the progressive politicians along with their media minions has minimized your work, insulted your intelligence, and ignored your contribution to civilized life. Try not to take it personally. Just keep doing what you do. Proceed running your business. Vote your conscience. Keep the water running, the toilets flushing and the lights on for the rest of us. And the next time some hack writer impersonating a journalist attacks a candidate by calling their supporters “uneducated” – simply because their base of knowledge isn’t adorned on a piece of paper–tell them “their slip is showing,” and one derisory poison pen letter or ax job deserves another.

Lets Talk Economics

Donald Trump doesn’t have an economic  plan is a common criticism of the GOP presidential nominee. But the entrepreneur proved his critics wrong when he announced his economic plan a couple of weeks ago. Hillary, on the other hand, is a political hag without a clear economic vision.  “We are going to raise taxes on the middle class” and we are “Going to put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business, “are a few of Hillary’s economic plans. If you’re considering staying at home on November 4; writing-in a third party candidate on your ballot, or— have you lost your mind, voting for Hillary—then you’ll benefit from reading the highlights of how Trump’s Economic plan will revitalize our economy. The italicized words are Trump's. The commentary that follows each of Trump's points are yours truly.

1.) “Across-the-board income tax reduction, especially for middle income Americans. This will lead to millions of new and really good-paying jobs. The rich will pay their fair share, but no one will pay so much that it destroys jobs or undermines our ability as a nation to compete.”

Is this a shrewd policy? Allow me to address this from one who identifies as a middle income American and one who is a fiscal conservative. It is smart for two reasons. First, because the middle class is—for the first time in U.S. history—no longer a majority. President Obama’s socialist agenda has diminished our economy to the point that the average American now makes less than $30,000 annually. Secondly, over the “past decade, expatriation of U.S. citizenship has risen 15-fold.” Why would Bright, gifted and affluent American impresarios give up their citizenship at historic rates? Look no further than the corporate income tax rate. The United States has the highest corporate income tax rate in the world and is no longer the most competitive place to run a business. Trump’s plan will reverse this trend and allow businesses to stay in America to both create new jobs and raise wages on existing jobs.

2.) Refusal to Pass the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). “Trade has big benefits, and I am in favor of trade. But I want trade deals for our country that create more jobs and higher wages for American workers. Isolation is not an option!”

To put TPP in perspective, consider that the Affordable Care Act was 900 pages in length, and no one knew what was inside the bill until after President Obama unconstitutionally rushed it through Congress. In contrast, TPP—which the Obama administration has been developing during both his terms in office is around 5,500 pages. The TPP is a budding EU, according to some economists lessens the power of the people’s constitutionally formed Congress in favor of “global governance.” It is this writer’s opinion that under no circumstance should we repeat our Obamacare mistake and pass TPP so we can find out what is in it. Trump’s opposition to TPP is wise, and a key way in which his policies are superior to those of Hillary.

Recently, Hillary claimed she too opposes TPP. However, Clinton has publically pushed TTP 45 times.  To my progressive friends, it is true. Hillary has in the past endorsed TTP. If you don’t believe me check your search engine. It is there.  Thus, Clinton’s promise to oppose TPP means very little. We simply cannot trust Hillary to keep her promise on TPP.

3.) No to NAFTA. Trump plans to abandon the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) signed into law by former President Bill Clinton in 1994 if unable to negotiate terms more amenable to the United States. Do we really desire transfer of jurisdiction to international ‘tribunals’ beyond the reach of American voters? If you’re alarmed about the economy and you want to prevent America from becoming the next Venezuela, if you have a real sense of economic right and wrong, you cannot in good conscience support Hillary Clinton. Donald Trump is your best bet on the ballot.
